Is anyone here gonna get Halo for Mac? (altho its a lot better on xbox...)

I wold rather want Raven Sheild. But I might get Halo for mac

bungie says the minimun reqs will be equal to that of the xbox...so you will need a G4 with a Geforce4 or better...:(

BTW you should try halo it is so much beter then Raven shield..

bah.. i lost interest in halo sometime around last year. i'd been following it for nearly two years already and was getting rather bored with watching preview movies. then i heard it was gonna be comming to Xbox first and i decided "Fuck it!" the whole coolness of it is that it was going to come out for MAC first/simeltaneously (i know i spelt it wrong, sue me) with PC version. But obviously now that M$oft has run out of ideas they have to raid longstanding Mac companies just to get the premiere game for their console. Sheesh.

Maybe Bungie will make a Marathon 4. Wouldn't that be cool?

Well... I've played Halo on the Xbox a few times now.. even had 4 people playing at once a couple times...

Compared to playing RS online... blah.

Nice textured graphics... ok... so what... nothing else about it is any better then most other FPS's.  I'll be looking much more forward to MOH:AA and Raven Sheild.

I'm going to get Halo for the mac. ?It is a hot game although not as cool as RS which we have played forever :).? Does anybody know the release date?

Well, from what I'm hearing Halo will be coming out for Mac before PC.  I don't see how Halo could possibly be worse than RS though so all good things.  Speaking of which, I got the full version of RtoCW in the mail yesterday so I'm happy for a few months at least.

i got RtcW too, yesterday, it's an ok game, but DX is more fun (IMHO).
and as for the MP.. lets just say that with the fact that the CD key is checked on the server every time you try to play, illegal copies suck

I figure people will try to get illegal copies of RtoCW are the same type that would try to cheat so I figure it is for the best.

After playing Halo, i think it is better than every other FPS in every way, except you cant play it online for xbox, but Halo 2 will be online for xbox, and Halo for mac will probly be 4 Gameranger

 I think Xbox is gay and Halo is cool.  That is why I want it on my mac.  I can't wait to get it.

I checked the HALO site and watched the movies on gameplay, all I can say is that if you want to shoot aliens on another world, just download the RLTC mod for RS. Its just as good and its free...
