Title: Re:PS2 V.S XBox Post by: Casper on January 15, 2003, 04:42:03 am Kilzo this really is not the best place to ask because most people here seem to hate Microsoft, I dont really but, I still prefer Ps2.
1) Controller size- the Ps2 Controlers are aboutthe same size as almost all previse systems, but the Xbox has a huge controler and i know where the keys are i just find it harder to reach. 2) DvD- Xbox you have to buy a dvd pack and For a Ps2 you can buy a remote but you dont need one. 3)Games in my pref I think Ps2 has far better games i still think the xbox games are fun but like socom and stuff will the headset and They have more games. But Xbox is mostly M rated and T rated games hehe :) 5) GTA-3 and GTA-VC make it completely worth it. 4) The Ps3? anyone heard about it i have heard rumors but nothing more Title: Re:PS2 V.S XBox Post by: PsYcO aSsAsSiN on January 15, 2003, 04:50:18 am Look at the numerous other threads on this issue. Title: Re:PS2 V.S XBox Post by: Jeb on January 15, 2003, 09:05:53 am This is about the playstation 3
"Destined by all indicators for a 2005 release, stories surround the PS3 pointing toward the incorporation of a complex microprocessor, a supercomputer-on-a-chip bearing the moniker "Cell."" "This finely crafted chunk of silicon will contain multiple chips within a single unit, and will be able to perform in excess of one trillion mathematical calculations a second. Put into perspective, that makes it approximately 100 times more powerful than a 2.5 GHz Pentium 4 CPU!" " Cell will likely employ somewhere between four and 16 processor cores, or cells, per chip (hence the technology's label)." " Cell computing will also facilitate a distributed style of networking that performs computing tasks in much the same way a cell phone network routes calls. Thus, for example, the PlayStation 3 will be able to use its broadband Internet connection to draw additional computing power from idle processors across the Internet. If still more horsepower is required, the PlayStation 3 can even tap into a home network to enlist support from other available machines" "There's also a good likelihood that this ?ber-processor will be coupled with the new format of media playback known as "Blu-Ray Disk." It employs a blue laser and is capable of realizing a capacity of 25 to 27 GB per recording layer on a DVD. That's up to 50 GB on a double-sided disk. " The next GTA game is rumored to be called "Sin City" and set in vegas, GTA4 would rock on the PS3 |
