well i got bored today, so here ya go who is the top player in RS i knwo grifter started one of these a while ago, i just thought i would make another due to some people have died(not literally)..

duh. it's totally and completely obvious. well.. i may not be the best player, but i'll be damned if i dont' have the most fun. and that's what counts, eh?

quiet fool this isnt the "who has the most fun on RS =D" it is who is best =D

Oh wait, I guess the question isn't who is the worst overall RS player that might actually be expected to be good.

I think I've gotten about 10 kills in 200 games of RS (and died 190 times).  Go to R6 where I've probably gotten 3000 kills in 1500 games and died about 750 times.  Note all this is heavy approximation.

you newbie Bondo, in R6, for a week's worth of games, I got at least 300 kills (I kept track for one week) in less than that amount of games..

Over all my games I'm guessing I averaged 2 kills a game and died only every other game.  That is what I'm going on, I don't know how many games I actually played.

haha....there is never a game that I don't get at least 9 kills and die twice!  You are all owned!

Then there is RtoCW where I average about 15 kills to 5 deaths.  What is really fun is getting a few kills with your machine gun, then take a few more with the pistol, get one with your grenade and top it off with a kill with the knife, all against people with machine guns.

This is the first time  I've ever agreed with Nixon....who really cares? As far as I know game developers make the games for money and for people TO HAVE FUN.......Then asses take it and try to make it a competitive sport.....(Rapid)....That takes away from the fun of the game. I mean it's called a game for a reason......

Are you calling *DAMN asses for running the Battle League then?  Because the BL is made for competition.  I certainly don't think people should make a huge deal about ranking people, but a little competition be it the BL or a tournement are good ways to provide a fun place to play.

What I meant by what I said Bondo was that people like Rapid come in and make it less enjoyable....I wasn't calling DAMN asses....I like the bl because there is some competition and it contributes to the fun.....But when you make it to where it's a serious matter, like Rapid does, then it gets out of hand.

Oh and Grift, I was talking about the HUMP part of Rapid's post, not the double negaitves when I wondered about it being modified.

I was talking about the whole thing...  that, and Rapid is one of those that believes in humping newbies after his kills.

I wonder if he thinks he is clever to do so, like he invented it.  Many a vet has humped my leg in my long time playing.   :)

Killing guys in the middle of humping is one of my favorite hobbies... :D

Ahh, humping dead bodies. While this has been a time honored tradition in R6 (and RS apparently) for some time now, modern day humping can be traced back to, of course, Syrup. Syrup, the original R6 anti-clan despite what those silly jn's want you to believe, was home to many infamous characters, two of which being Kolunda and Jesse. What Willie Mays was to the basket catch, Kol and Jesse are to humping: they started it en masse, they made it popular, they perfected it, and no one could ever duplicate their style. One popular variant of the hump is known commonly as the "blue door moon" in which the player (Kol) would proceed to the blue door, do an about face, and hump away while the gold team was powerless to shoot him; in short, the ultimate in humiliation.

I saw this link the other day when Trigger put it up on GR and had to come read some gossip. ?This one is great because it was in subject, jumped out of subject, got back, jumped out, and now I'm in here posting! ?I agree that Grifter and Ultimo are great players, but I'm surprised no one mentioned Rapid. ?I haven't been playing that long, but I constantly see Rapid whiping out everybody in his way! (Actually I walked up to him the other day and shot him in the back of the head) ?The thing with him is, it's so easy to kill him, but when he goes crazy and kills everyone and humps them, it's hilarious and true ownage. ?It's funnier to see people saying "OMG, what is he doing to me?" ?For those amusing reasons I will come back to the subject and vote for Myself for best RS player! ?(and Rapid) ?I guess I'm mostly saying this after reading all these forums and all the hatrid on the poor guy. ?He does extremely well keeping his cool and proving his point and I now like that about him too. ?Rapid and Grifter would be my top picks, but Rapid is the funnier one about it. lol

That is sort of the R6 player I was, I'd do nothing for a few rounds and then I'd kill the entire other team (be them newbies or SiXes).  I just went on wild killing sprees when nothing could stop me.  But unlike Rapid I would refrain from humping and rather just reload and look for any innocents I could kill.  (That after all is the best part of modded maps, well that and being hit by a humvee).

I just hate it when the good players rubb it in. I remeber the first day on RS I had to change my name (Yuri is what it used to be) because Romulus would kick me out off all of the games. So would this guy called nickajboo. B'ah! Now I am the ?most erratic mediocre player on RS. Back on topic (which was mysteriously transformed to be about people geting hit by Humvees) I think Anarchy, Oso, and Grifter to be the best players on RS.

Actually, Anarchy would get my vote for being most improved player.  He's gone from just another guy that's been around to an actual threat in the past two months.  He's a legit bad ass now.

I've talked in the Bar and Grill to various RS players about this question, and most agreed with me:
There is no single best player; you can be good, but not the best.  There is never an RS player who never dies, never has a bad night, or never gets killed by a lucky/skilled noob.  Everyone who claims to be the best (I'll try not to name any names ;) or has been nominated for best, isn't in my eyes.  Do you know why?  I, an average, run o-the mill old noob, has owned the "best" players in one way or another in the past.  When as |?K| Seth, Seth, -ASU- Seth, and now +sTfU+ Meth, I've killed these "best" players MANY times.  (Of course, they went back and killed me too:)) I'm not trying to say I can kill good players all the time, but I'm saying that the best players suck hard at times.  Therefore, there can be no best players.....only good ones.  

Your point is well taken Seth... but I disagree with one thing...

There are no perfect players, that's the truth, but best is a relative word.. it just means that some players die less often, suck less often, have fewer off nights then anyone else.  So it is possible to be the best.

However, like in any competition, there is never one best for long (some greats that are always up there.. but not best all the time).  So the best is something that is transient.  I know that both I and Ultimo used to be a lot better at RS then we are now...  and others used to be much worse... so the best is something that changes often.  But I know who would be on my all star list.
