*DAMN R6 Forum

It is clear (especially after tonight with the bans and arguments with typhy and rapid) that the AK clan isn't liked very much.

In fact, almost everyone hates them. Why? You all know why, there are thousands of reasons...everyone has their problems.

Instead of these tireless squabbles and websites, and remarks, and bans, etc etc, why doesn't everyone on the Battle League at *DAMN (clans included) just vote on whether to allow AK to enter the BL? Almost everybody on GR doesn't get along with them, so why don't the admins just DO something instead of watching (and wasting time getting involved in) these arguments?

I would like to propose, along with many GR members, there should be a vote at the honorable *DAMN Battle League on whether or not to keep AK in.

Very nice. I throw my vote in to have AK removed permanently. That includes any futile attempt for Rapid to create another clan to get back in. That's something we should keep an eye on.

I personally dont think AK should leave, they havnt done anything against the rules and even tho most people hate them there are other clans who are just as annoying as they are if AK.

also i think alot of the problems people have with AK are with rapid and typhy not with AK clan itself also what about the other members in AK who havnt done anything wrong, Windtalker one of my best friends is in AK they has my vote to stay

First of all, you are very ignorant. Most likely because you are only 13, and think you are the smartest person on GR. Well most of the "dumbasses" on GR ARE smarter than you. You just can't accept that fact. And you better start caring about the public's opinion about you, because if it weren't for the public of GR, you wouldn't have anyone to cb, and therefore no one to feed your only pride off of.

Who would truely care about this? If they stayed and you didn't like them, you could just ignore them and not cb them. Having them removed permanently would not help anyone, and it would decrease those who voted for them to go's reputation. If you have problems, deal with it, or leave GameRanger.

Infect is right we shouldnt get involved. Even though somebody hates someone else everyone should be allowed in. Just stop bashing AK the facts are, that even if rapid did start anything, just ignore it. You guys get banned for a reason. Why wont you all just stfu and let Evill deal with it.

The thing is matt, evill has more things to do than the admins. He runs GR's servers, updates it, keeps updating game links, and many other things. He can't have time (without loss of a social life) to give care to every person, and clan on GR. Sure the RS/GhR clans are the biggest, but there's many other people and things to take care of that are more important. Lets take things into our own hands and do something, or else the websites, comments, and other things will continue for another year(s) to come.

Evill deals with everything Baz. Need proof: I've been banned 3 times in 2 months (4 in 6), 1 for "impersonation" when I never even impersonated. You guys will need to figure out who the admins are and figure out what the problem is before you submitted anything. This is also a useless ploy as acting childish and immature is not a bannable offense on GameRanger, (except in my case) so this will get you no where.

Ever since I got to the RS community, I've made many friends, and obviously made some enemies.  The enemies were made after I responded to their insults in the same matter(Yes I admit that's a bit childish, but I like to put in people's faces, a dose of their own medicine when they're doing wrong).  

Obviously Baz is another new problem child that has fallen into the "hype" to "hate AK".  Yes, we have kicked Baz's ass in CB's 6-0, 10-0 and even 15-2 -1 and what not.  Sure that pissed him off and I can bet that's a reason he "seeks revenge".  So sure it sounded ok to start a "Ban AK" thread.  First he was in the B & G as "Typhy's Cat" or some bs causing trouble and leading the parade of clowns.  then Py, a avid AK hater, saw what he was doing, and of course, had to join in since that's what the (uNt clan is here for.  To be "funny assholes" and cause trouble.  They don't CB.  They haven't even met the 3 CB minimum this season!  Their clan is here to simply cause trouble and instigate so others join in with them.  It has worked so far, but with no effect on us.  We just sit back and laugh at all these kids who keep getting 0wn3d in RS, and seek revenge elsewhere while coming up short each and every time

BTW, I'd like to thank Snake, Anarchy, JustinSane, Ben, Mattster, Viper and Flame for Standing up for AK against this n00b nonsense.    It's obvious the frustration of these n00bs are causing them to act the fool, but soon they will realize it and grow out of it.  Either that or they'll go out in the real world, keep acting the way they are, and get their asses beat!

About you owning people rapid....I have yet to see this. Every game I've been in with you you tend to die 10 seconds after the game starts. In moh your score generally displays a 10-50. As soon as Rapid sees it, he posts his reply saying that it's all good, and that Rebel's forgiven.

First thing I notice when going through FIVE PAGES OF CRAP is all the baz bashing. This is completely uncalled for, because in no way was he being insulting or "noobish". He was proposing a solution he thought could work, but one that many are not in favor for. There is absolutely no reason why you should all jump upon him,  and in the future I suggest you start behaving courteously if you expect these flame wars to end.

On the AK problem he speaks of:
Immediately I'm going "YES!! BAN!!" because AK has done some pretty rotten things to me and my clan, including trying to get us banned on more than one occasion. But then I realize that AK is not made up of all mean people, there are only a few bad apples...in fact I'm even very good friends with one and I'd hate to punish him for something he couldn't control himself. In spite of Rapids previous action to ban my whole clan for something an individual did, I'm going to say I support AK remaining in the Battle League because I don't hold grudges, and I prefer equality on an individual basis. And if you where on satalite your pings would be even higher. Aside from my doubts about how your connected to the internet, i have no other reason to believe your not in iraq.

hmmmm... i am connected to a network, not a 56k crap... it then goes through a router type thing (not really sure but i can find out) and it goes to a sadlite.... i get great pings 40ms... then i get some really awful ones on weird days... right now i took a few SS's some pings are really bad... like in the  1000's...

Your packetts start out going from your dish to a satelite, then they are beemed back to the isp CO (which is usualy in a fixed location in the US) from there they go about the internet on the normal backbone. From the server the packet would have to go to the CO then to the satelite and back to your dish. The average Satelite ping is from 700-1000ms
