Title: Best Mouse??? Post by: 0 Kilz:M: on December 25, 2002, 05:53:44 pm Seasons greetings everyone, I was just curious as to what type of mouse you all use and which one you believe to be the better of them. Or if you think it really doesn't matter. I myself use a hockey puck....

Post by: Mr. Lothario on December 26, 2002, 01:07:51 pm I use a Kensington Turbo Mouse, which (oddly enough, given the name) is a trackball. I'm pretty much a weirdo because I prefer a trackball for first-person shooters, and YMMV, but it works quite well for me. My wrist and arm don't get tired using a trackball, because I only have to use my fingers to move it. The Turbo Mouse has a bigass ball right smack in the center, surrounded by four buttons (NE, NW, SW, SE). The newest model has a scroll wheel above the ball and five programmable little buttons in an arc above that. I needs to get me one of those. I've had three Turbo Mice over the course of ten years or so, and it's very probable that I'll never use anything different. If Kensington made an optical Turbo Mouse, my life would be complete (at least in the department of computer input devices). Kensington makes good stuff, in my experience. A good brand.
Title: Re:Best Mouse??? Post by: [[EUR]] HoloGram on December 26, 2002, 03:17:43 pm Yea kensington has good products. But I stick to logitech just b/c i never had an other mouse - one exception i got a MS optical mouse for PC 1 year ago it was nice but it complety different in usabilty - and afterwards i bought a Logitech Wirelles desktop ( u know the black one ) and it rox! Now i use the Desktop on PC and my MS mouse on the mac! b/c im too lazy to plug in and plug out the USB device :-)
And my sister who is using my comp too, is to stupid to get the point what computer to use ( i have only one Monitor - it makes it a bit difficult for a nOOb to know where the motitor is pluged on ) i looking where divices are pluged in . So I rearanged all stuff 2 days ago - so I have 2 keabourds on my table again and two mice. |
