Title: MERRY X-MAS!!! Post by: |MP|Nomad on December 19, 2002, 08:14:33 pm Hey I just wanted to wish all a merry x-mas, only 6 more days baby!!! I hope all you kids were good this year or you are gonna have to wait a whole year to make it up!
I love this time of year, it makes me reflect on myself and how I can make myself a better person. Know that I remember, there is a great movie out there my bro showed me (Kirok, is the nicest person in the world...HONEST!!) the movie shows and teaches you how to be a genuine good person and it all comes down to one thing.....its called PAYING IT FORWARD. Basically means you have to do something for someone else that is very difficult, almost out of your reach or unthinkable, but expect NOTHING in return. An example, might be to go to a homeless person and invite him over for dinner, or help an umeployed person get a job, etc and then these people have to do the same thing to another person who is down and needs some help and as you can see the cylce goes on. Its really a beautiful concept, however, please dont mistake compassion for ignorance, there are plenty of ppl out there that would love to take advantage, so please keep you guard up and trust to a point. This may sound pointless when thinking of true and honest help, but unfortunately we live in a world where danger exists everywhere, so please be careful. Post by: tasty on December 22, 2002, 12:45:13 am yeah w00t christmas is just a fun time whether you are christian or not, so everyone down some eggnog (best spiked with rum) and have a merry time. oh and pay it forward is a crappy movie (too corny) but the premise is right on? although it shouldnt be confined to this season, now is a great time to be generous. volunteer at your local homeless shelter or do something good. otherwise, santa claus will pwn your noob ass.
