Write a shell script to do a netstat and store it in a log. When you go to host, put it in cron and have it run every minute. If/when the spambotter shows up, note the time. Later, go check your logs for what IP joined on the RS port at that time.

You can't boot the spambot like Cringe said, because it freezes the host and the host can't control all the lag, so the host crashes. but he came back within 4 seconds and spammed again. Lion then booted him again, and didn't crash, though about 5 people in the game did. |
