Ghost recon is boring. I almost finished the whole game in 1 fucking day on a windows comp. And what i dislike moest is that the multiplayer sux . There is no CQC combat in the whole fucking game ( mb in the mission where you have to infiltrate these caves, 1 of the first missions ), 90 % of the game exist out of lying around and emptying youre mag on a guy a mile away... No skills needed. And as you get better skilled guys it even gets more boring. Just dont buy the game. It's not worth the money.

as far as i know it hasn't shipped (cause pyrex preordered)
It sucks that the install disk for RS has a big crack in it, and i deleted the game when i reformated my HDs, now i need a damn backup of RS or GHR.

What do you know. . .my RS discs have cracks in them too! ;)

GhR will lag on the Mac side I'm quessing.=(
I say this because MoH is laggy sometimes, especially when you turn corners, the fps slows down dramactically and GhR was converted by Aspyr which converted MoH.

on a side note-I hope GhR won't be poorly programmed like RS was.

I must know if GhR is multi-threaded for my dual cpu(500mhz).  does anyone know?

RS wasn't poorly programmed, it was just ported poorly by MacPlay.

Dragonic - Use mods if you don't enjoy playing a TACTICAL shooter. Anybody can play well with CQB, but it takes skill to take over a heavily defended base on large maps with true snipers.

OS X supports SMP at the OS level, so I don't believe it matters if GhR is specifically designed for SMP support. You should see the speed boost no matter what.

For those that have been asking when it will get here.  CompUSA is expecting it on Saturday or Sunday (which means Monday)

Bucc... When Comp USA says Saturday or Sunday... They mean Saturday or Sunday... (Next week though)... Yah, I'll find out how much its played on gr before I buy it... If I buy it!

i got an email from aspyr an hour ago, my copy is currently on a van leaving north carolina. i would expect to have it by tuesday at the latest

i just got an email too, my GhR was in Norfolk at 7:44 this morning(which is only 30 minutes away) so im sitting here hoping that it comes...

I haven't played GhR yet but I think it looks like a good game the graphics look really good but it looks like theres  alot of sniping and no assult well my birthday is in one month so I will be getting it then later guys. Ferret

I called CompUSA today, Ghost Recon isn't schelduled to be in until Wednesday.
