I got a 1600 month ban from GR for warez. And It wasn't even really warez.

At least you got a time ammount put on yours, that usually means that after a while you can negotiate things with him, give it a few months, then send him an email.

He said it would be a 2 week ban. Then He turned it into a 1600 month ban.

I mean it was an accident, I will explain everything now.

Ok so I got Virtual Pc and I was wondering if anyone used it. So in the construct, I would write " Does anyone Have VPC" Every 50 posts or so, so I am in the middle of installing it and it asks me for my Serial password, so i put it in, and I copyed it because I store all of my passwords in a Microsoft word document. So I go and paste it in there, then I go back to GR and press apple V to paste what I thought was still  " Does anyone Have VPC" but I forgot and I said opps, then Evill said , "opps 2 week ban. SO yesterday it was sappose to be over and I go to go on and It says 1600 month ban. So I wrote him am E-mail asking him whats up, and I am just waiting wor a responce.

Wow that sucks 5150.  I remember the time I asked you for the serial number for EV nova, and you wouldnt give it to me cause you were anti warez lol.

It was such a bad accident. Im kickin my self cause I didn't wanna be a loner like typhy. lol

Surprise surprise, another innocent victim. He didn't buy VirtualPC. That was also the excuse he used in his email. The serial number he accidentally pasted was from a Serial Surfer list. A liar and a thief.

The reported-ban-time changed yesterday as I migrated servers, which is an endian bug. The ban itself is unchanged.

Heh, ignome told me he got a 1124 or so month ban, for posting a link, but in fact it was 30 minutes. Evill is like one of those double crossing guys: he poses as a warezer to get all the warezer ideas then goes back to the good side. (please dont ban me for that)

Man some people never learn.  It is too easy to catch the lies guys.  You would not believe how many people come onto MacClans, pretending to be someone else, thinking that they can actually fool us.  It's not even hard to figure out.  We don't even have to work for it.  Especially all the people that come in pretending to be Evill (and then get banned and wonder why).  Do you think we can't tell what Evill's IP is?

5150, you should be ashamed for that lie.  Just own up to your mistakes next time.

Oh, and Evill, if you read this, I think Ben has suffered enough in exile and is ready to play nice on GR again if you give him the chance.  Just my 2?

Ah, at least the Evill impersonators on MacClans are learning... I mean.. the first one typed like this:

Obvoiusly not Evill... Soone people started tp s[ell things correctly... Then they capitalized... Then they punctuated... Now at least, they are there with typing and punctuation and what not, but still lacking in the... humor aspect.

 You'd think that if Scott's got time to post in the forums, he'd have time to return emails. And if anyone ever even thinks about pirating from Ambrosia, I'd be pissed.

hmmm. evill knows that was a surfer serial... now why would he have surfer's serials sitting around... he also has all the games that were ever put into game ranger, and he got them at peak time...(http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~damnr6/yabbse/YaBBImages/hm.gif) that's got to at least be  $1,000 in games assuming $50 a game...that's alot of money to spend on just games...

 One would assume that the "Somthing that he needs to tell us" is that he gets the games free in an agreement for putting them on GameRanger.

Brain, I am sure that Evill gets the games for free since he creates the plug-ins for Gameranger. The way the companies see it, GameRanger helps market their product and thus increase sales. A good majority of you would not have bought Rogue Spear (ok, I know a lot of you pirated it) if it wasn't playable via GameRanger.

I remember one time I was banned by Evill for posing as him. But I only did it because he let me. Doesn't make sense I know.

I imagine he keeps SS around to check and see if someone has pirated software if they are dumb enough to mention a serial #.  Either that or he some way through the GR app to sniff the serials of various apps on the HD, and verify that no one on GR is a pirate.  Or just check and see if they have SS installed.

Now that would be pretty cool. . .

Funny. . .I must either not spend enough time on GR or not be stupid, because the only time I was ever banned was for a half hour for typing too fast.
