*DAMN R6 Forum

Since everyone keeps making these "best of" categories, I was curious to find out who all you old-school peeps thought was the best overall r6 player ever? now before i get a bunch of stupid off-topic posts, let me clarify?

#1. this is best r6 player ever only! RS skills have nothing to do with this post!
#2. if you are a RS player only and never played r6, plz dont post to this topic? well just bc you wouldn't know!

well anyway, in my experience the best players were dishwasher, fmj, and ghost? but i heard a bunch of old-school people that i barely got a chance to play with were good too, like johnnothing and brewski? anyway i mostly just wanna find out who people thought was the best

Well I have a feeling this will get ugly at some point, but oh well, that's the nature of the beast.

As for the best R6 player, I've said it before and I'll say it again: Kordova. Hands down, no competition. There are some other really good players, but Kordova was always the best by a longshot.

I am just gonna name alot of people who i thought were awesome at R6.

Macrules, Cow, Brew, Wrath, JN, Rogue, Piggy, and Ace.

Ofcourse there is alot more but some of the other great players I never got a chance to play with. I know many people consider Kordova tobe the best but unfortunatley I never got the privalege to play with him. :(

These are the few I had the pleasure of seeing in action during the very old days when I played Rainbow 6. However, I have heard guys like Skippy and Axid of the scrotum clan are pretty damn good too.

You are around a 30 SK...as bad as your grammar and internet connection were, you still had some mad hosting skills ;).

But JN is far and away the best, and SEALs turned into a bunch of scrubs when he left ;).

I wonder how many people will think jn is me? ;D

But yeah, johnnothing definitely ranks up there.  And macsrule was always impressive.  Back in the day Mauti and Bander were good as well, not to mention a number of the other euro-laggers  :)

WHOAH! ULTI SAID MY NAME! id have to say my favorite R6 players (ones i always had a tough time killing) had to be Axid, Pig, and Hockeyguy.  They were good. mooooo

I agree 100% with ya tasty, I used to play R6 and I'd say they were the best too, Mauti was also a great player.

Well I have heard of a total of 1 of all those good people besides DAMN players and that is Pig. In the last months I would say Piggy and fmj when ever he shows up but I dont know very far back.

Eeeeh... I'm a bit insulted tasty chose fmj (who is prom) over me when I beat prom 1 on 1! And whatnot... and stuff... And my biggest accomplishment in r6 was beating pig... course he was really drunk, still I'm proud!

The best ever would really be Skippy, Axid (if he had cable), most sixer's, most sac'ers... Bah, JN, Wrath, Pig, Roy, Gem, Meph, Cubby, Al, Skip, Reno, Dev, Ax, Nix, Lyfe, Zom, Bander, Mauti... Who was in BONE damnit... and SKUL (nice and wench... wench wasn't the best though)...

That's as far back as I go... Romeo wouldn't qualify as the best... OOOH Geek was pretty damn good :).... You know... back in the day... when he actually played and all... Hockeyguy was good, who was it... mr campalot... seals... uuuh... fotogeek! Snipe was... Ghost continued to insist he was... but he sucked...

If it were with whom I lat played it'd be tasty, cokey, sniper, and aut PWNAGE! (oh... yah... and pig)

I guess the Bander & Bondo show wasn't on long enough for people to take note.

I think everyone is talking about the Mauti-Bander show, not the Bondo-Bander show.  ;)

Need I mention now that I owned Mauti and Bander 1v2 on Euro host to get my spot in DAMN ;)  Too bad I only played great that week and then a month or two last summer...but during those few weeks I was unstoppable.

I'm just a little embarrassed that the only list I made it on to was SK's!

JN is the only person in personal experience that I found to be unstoppable, and that was only for the first year I played, the second year even he wasn't unstoppable.  So by saying this yes, I know I am stoppable, so is everyone else.

And Loud...I actually don't know if I ever played with you  :(

Yeah. . .I didn't get to play with many of the American R6 greats at all.  I peaked over one summer where I was playing during the day, against Europeans with more normal schedules and lag  :D
