Title: Medal of Honor crashing...
Post by: Cobra on October 23, 2002, 09:20:09 pm
Grrr...
Just got Medal of Honor the other day, and it's a blast so far, with the exception of one extremely annoying problem....it crashes my computer constantly.

The crashes seem to happen quite randomly, but also very often.  Today and yesterday I haven't been able to play for more than 15-20 minutes without it crashing   >:(  They're kinda weird crashes too...the screen will simply stop being refreshed and keyboard input is useless, but the sounds and everything continue for a bit (then eventually stop).  Anyone else getting this problem?

I downloaded the patch last night, still crashes.  I've tried lowering the settings to the absolute minimum, still crashes.  It's running in OSX on a 700 mhz iMac with 640 RAM...easily more than the system requirements (GeForce 2 MX should be able to at least run this game, right?).

If anyone has any tips on how to possibly solve this problem, please let me know.  Thanks in advance  :)

Try installing mohaa again, "clean install"

i know bondo plays it on a pink iMac, so i'm sure your imac could handle it.
MOh is responsible for the one and only crash so far in jaguar, never try to use Snapz Pro X to take a SS, just a warning.
a reinstall should do the trick, or you could just not play MOH cause its a weak game (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~damnr6/yabbse/YaBBImages/ass.gif)

On my now crappy 400Mhz iMac, only the app crashes every 20-25 minutes when I'm playing in multiplayer. But before it crashes, it has the funky graphics in which you see a "person" there, but he actually isn't there and you see it all over the map, so all I do is rejoin the host and I stop the crash from happening....but I think you problem is different from mine...
