Title: Kazaa on Mac (omg wtf bbq) Post by: Jeb on October 19, 2002, 11:21:19 pm being the resident piracy expert i thought i'd let you fools know about some stuff that kills limewire. If you are one of the few people who have payed for drumbeat, please stop reading.
First off, there is a shadow Kazza client (spyware not included) which is a pretty damn nice app, the only downfall is that it uses service scans to find hosts (not as bad as it sounds unless you have 56k). Download the app, and the starter kit. if you have a router you might have to open a port. http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~mthole/neo/index.html And then there is acquisition, which is essentialy like limewire only its not written in java and you can connect to 20 hosts, compared to limewires' limit of 6. http://www.xlife.org/acquisition.php or if your really ghetto like me you can just rip web radio streams, http://streamripperx.sourceforge.net/ its to bad that audio galaxy got pwned by the RIAA. 16gigs of my Hd is full because of audiogalaxy :) Title: Re:Kazaa on Mac (omg wtf bbq) Post by: *DAMN Silent Killer on October 20, 2002, 12:39:48 am you got anything for mac os 9???

it might be because you downloaded the comand line version (no noob should use command line). also, there is another program called eDonkey2000, which i won't recomend because it sucks donkey to use. |
