Title: TIBET!!! Post by: (uNt FasSst.qc on October 09, 2002, 10:23:09 am Hey kidz!! I am writing this thread to let all of you n00bs know where the hell I am, although I bet nobody really gives a shit...I am writing this post from the great city of Lhasa...which, for you ultra-n00bs, is in China. I have visited many places and I have a shitload of pix to share for when I get back. I will need to get my RS skillz back so Jeb, get ready to practice a few with me when I get back on the 30th of Oct.
I miss my (uNts!!! :( A little about Lhasa, it is a very filthy city but the filth doesn't take anything away from the beauty of the mountains and the spectacular vistas...I have visited many temples and monasteries and they are very impressive. I have also seen more buddhas then you can shake a stick at. Anyone who has the time and money to come out here for a visit should do so, you will not find anything like this anywhere in the world and I highly recommend it. Anyways I shall return to write more about my experiences in this huge country. Hey admins, I know this thread doesn't really pertain to RS or R6 matters but I thought I might give you guys a heads up about wtf I am up to and also some information about China, so please don't erase it. I will show you my pix when I get back, as stated previously and I bet you will also want to go!
I must say that China is a strange place...the extremes are bewildering to say the least, let me explain: this country is about a century behind us in social situations: people spit, blow their noses without hankies(farmer blow) where they happen to be when they need to...I was waiting to board the plane, having a smoke in the smoking lounge and this dude horks one up and spits it right in the middle of the lounge...needless to say it DID freak me out but you get used to it...and they aren't the cleanest of all people...that's one extreme...now the other is that they all have cell phones and these phones are way more high-tech than any phone in Canada or the US...they also have BMW's, Audis and Mercs everywhere...I'll continue later cause it's 10pm now and I'm getting the boot from the "internet lady". Oh btw Jeb, stfu...hehehe I definately won't be coming back a commie...the shit I see here is way too far out in leftfield for me to even comprehend...I swear, if you want to talk about culture shock...I've seen enough to write a book!!and young boys are your thing...fugger!!! ok, ok, frikken lady is hovering...gtg... fassst |
