In short, he left GR because I shut down PsYcO and said I was going to leave GR. He realized that I was one of the few who accepted him for who he was and he decided to ride off into the sunset on his high horse with me. I do have his email addy, but I don't think that he would want me giving that out.

Speaking of which, I am losing my mac soon, and I will be officially retiring from GR within 1-2 weeks. I might stay active with the BL and what not, but I will make all of my intentions known before I leave.

My college requires me to switch over to the "dark side" so I will not be using the mac anymore...however, sniper might be able to get me a few IP's and I can still play with you...maybe.

Your college requires you to switch!?  I thought schools were supposed to be progressive out in the Pac10.... Time for you to come to some real schools =P  I can hook you up with an internship if you come to University of Michigan....

I've been blessed that two of the Universities I've attended were very Mac oriented.... UofM still has one of the biggest Apple mirror sites.  

BTW, the hockey game is about to start.... and they just showed the new SWITCH TO APPLE ad.  I read about it this morning... very cool.  Get a Windoze lan admin out there to talk about the Mac... cool.

GRIFT, please don't judge the Pac 10 by our worst school. As horrible as fucla is, there are also great schools like USC.

Can you play GhostRecon, CounterStrike, Red Alert 2, Comanche 4, or have lots of online gaming choices? I don't remember all those from my Mac days... :)

First Rom, he was talking about using his computer for college... not as an overpriced playstation....

Second, vBulletin is not the best choice for php based forums.... two of the ah... er... security... forums I belong to uses it.. and it's slow as shit. I've used better.  BTW, even the next version of YABB is php and mysql I believe....

I'd probably use invisionboard if I wanted to run a php/mysql based forum.

I have used the next version of YaBB, and really like it. But it's not as easy to modify.

hmmm.... since when does a PC render 2D graphics faster then a Mac... besides, he'll be at college... he wont need to surf porn, he'll have freshmen girls and alcohol... all he needs is a web cam.

As for fast, I'll tell you what.  I'll race you with my iBook.  Let's see who can compile a bunch of java servlets for WebObjects the fastest..... DOH... that's right, you can't do it (try to find a compiler for Linux... betcha can't).  Ok, let's do this... let's see you test your code on Windoze, Mac OS9, Mac OS X, and *nix.  Doh.. you can't do that either.  You know what... except for playing games, I can't think of one thing that X86 computer can do better... I don't care which OS you use.  It can't do it all at the same time.

pcs own when it comes to 3d animation / rendering. macs are only faster when it comes to adobe products. although macs are 1000x more comfortable to work with. i have a pretty new pc, guess where it is: back at the dealer for repairing. MACS RULE, for life...

Also, I thought Maya ran better on the Mac when I played with it.  Or are you talking about some other programs??
