Title: Home run derby Post by: Psyks on July 09, 2002, 10:59:17 am This was derby was awsome. Samy Sosa hit 12 homers in the first round. Then giambi followed it with 11. I was suprised to see Bary Bonds do so bad tho with only 2. In round 2 Giambi won the first tie in home run derby history.

But Giambi really wanted it this year after losing last year. He hit 14 in the first round last year and then in the end Gonzalos ends up winning.
