Post by: wstsidedet on May 31, 2001, 01:47:07 pm COBRA :P, i am a detective with a department in metro atlanta and am also on our SWAT team. ?I love your mods and half of the team uses RS and UO for practice. ?One piece of advise from a cop. ?GET RID OF THE SMITH AND WESSON MODEL. ?Our dept used them for about five months and had so many malfunctions that some of our guys almost got hurt. ?Go with a Beratta, SIG, Glock, i dont care. ?Smiths SUCK!!

I'm not a big fan of them either, but that is the sidearm for the Newark NJ ERT. I'm keeping all of the weapons organic to the different units with only slight variations in the accesories. I am interested how you guys use RS / UO for training? I had some thoughts on it but it required making 3d models of actual buildings or actual SWAT incidents. Let me know. ;) |
