*DAMN R6 Forum

Well, I was waiting with anticipation for the relese of the Israel IDF mod because Coco and I had discussed doing a similar mod. I downloaded the mod and was suprised to learn that original files were to be overwritten (Red Flag). After completing the download I fired up UO to see what this mod contained. I do appreciate the time it takes to make a mod, but this one needed to stay on the drawing board a little longer. The weapon pics used were not the best available, in fact they were down right crummy. Maybe Coco and I should go ahead and make plans to make the IDF mod. Sorry if this sounded like a review, it was not meant to be.

I wouldn't want to make just a mod about israel tho, it'd have to be a few countries. I had discussed possibly pulling in Mel Ebbles of ROgue SPear Couturier fame, him and me have been going back and forth and it turns out he's also planning a similar mod, so we are contemplating combining forces...we shall see

we were talking about teaming up because if we both did the same type of mod we'd be competing! And if we combined forces, we couldn't be touched. 8)

Right now I'm working on a pretty hefty mod myself with SpyHawk, who did RealCops and had a piece of RealTroops too. We're putting out a pure infantry mod, and the list is something like 150-160 primaries and 40-50 secondaries. All original models too.

When Coco told me he was thinking of doing a special-ops mod, I was actually in the planning phase of a sequel mod that had international special forces and their weapons. I figured working together would save a lot of angst for people everywhere, heh heh

I have that pic, it's a bad angle but I always have to compose the textures anyways, lol. Not too far off from the 9mm m16 in the SWAT mod... You guys are gonna crap yourselves when you see US TAC, beta should be dropping, oh, mon-tues? ??? ;D

yea, it does look like the smg, thats why it caught my eye. Coco, i think we've all already craped ourselves a long time ago. all thats left is the regaining of consciousness followed by more crapping.
