I've noticed a few things in the US TAC mod which just don't seem right. At least some of the weapons are a bit underpowered. This may be because you modded the tangos or something else, but I actually just shot a tango in the eye with a .45 and he kept on coming. I put on the invisibility cheat and tried it on some more (this was the captured ship mission), and it still happened. They all dropped after two shots to the head, but it didn't seem right. Its even worse with smaller caliber weapons. Also, this may be related, sometimes it seemed like I was shooting and nothing came out. I would empty half a pistol clip into a tango before he was even wounded. Otherwise, great mod.  ;)

You have run into Coco's Bad Ass Tango's. About the only weapon that will drop them with one shot is the Tromix .458 Jack Hammer.

its funny you should say that smith becaus eof the fact that the mod has been tested and then beta tested and now released to over 1000 people and all i hear from all these people is great mod, this mod is the best , bout time a mod that isnt fake , and the almight favorite finally a flawless mod so if your haveing problems try getting better aim and yes the tangos have better armor so they dont die as fast but get in a game with me and i will show you that it takes 1 shot hehehe     :-[      ::)

Hi,

Before I say anything else Id like to say congratulations on an excellent Mod. Ive only managed to go through less than 5% of the weapons as yet - The reticules are absolutly shit hot the best Ive seen. So far I especially like the H&K 53 A5N ret.

Somr minor niggles [may have already been mentioned or fixed I DL the file at 4:45Pm UK time]. The primary mag pics seem to dissapear from the USDOE MP5 A4-40 onwards, The secondaries from the USDOE SRT onwards. There are also some wrong primary pics such as 7.62 Mag instead of SG carts for the Mossberg Compact. Also USDOE logo has a secondary Mag :).

I have to say that from someone who has just started to mod weapons I have a long, long way to mach your combined skills, something for me to aim for, why RedStorm havnt taken you onto staff I dont know.

One last thing before I go could you reinvent winzip to zip the files down to 1 meg, just for me, please :) Thank god for works internet connection and zip drive :)

As with all of our mods we do not want anyone using anything that originaly came with R/S. You should disable all Primaries, Secondaries, Kit Items, and Uniforms. This will take care of the Extra Mag problem. I gave you enough ammo to finish a map in R/S, so taking Extra Ammo is a waste. Thanks for the kind words we sure do appreciate them.

That was with everything RS disabled - isnt a problem just thought Id mention it, It could just be my machine ???

Anyhow, played more of it bit laggy on my machine- maybe its time to upgrade :)

Well... I hear all this great news, but when can I see it?!? If some one else won't port it to the Mac, I will! I have VpC and can be told how to convert a mod... Just point me to a link for like a guide book on mod conversion, and it will be done!

Were all the tangos changed? I just found this a little curious. lonely ghost, I always try to aim for the head, and as you see in my post, I was shooting tangos with no armor(the ones on the ship, wearing just t-shirts and blue jeans) in the head, and it was taking two shots to get them! Two shots to the head! I love this mod, and I have no doubt that the intent was to make the new tangos harder to kill, but was it supposed to affect the regulars, too?

The tangos in the R6 Ship map port were deliberately made tougher. If you try any of the original RS Maps, the tangos should be the same - I just made short work of the 747 map using the new weapons.

But those new Coco tangos are TOUGH.

Thanks for helping to clear it up. The tangos can't stand up to a anything over .45 caliber, but its really weird shooting one in the head when he's not even wearing a helmet and he doesn't die.
