My rogue spear is very slow. In the game it's fine, but if the connection is closed, if i get ejected, if I quit, if I got to a different screen, if a game is locked and i can't get in, every time i click the button to go to the next screen or press "ok" for the other messages, it takes about 45 seconds every time for the next screen to load. My computer just freezes for 45 seconds. It started doing this about 2 months ago, and before that it was just fine. What can I do? Should I give it more memory? btw...what should it's memory be to run well, I have 576 total. Also, it takes a very long time for me to load into games, and i'm often the last to join, and miss the first game. My mods folder only has Classic Missions and Urban Operations in it. I keep my other mods seperated. Can anyone help me? it would really be appreciated. :) :-[ ::)? Title: Re: Rogue spear problem... Post by: Typhy on July 14, 2002, 01:30:31 am First off, about 200 is good Ram for it, What sort of Processor do you have? Have you reinstalled RS? Did you do a full or starndard install?

Title: Re: Rogue spear problem... Post by: Wombat on July 14, 2002, 02:23:01 am Whats your connection, that's could be the problem. Probably the RAM too. Virtual Memory is bad for it too. Try deleteing the preferences and then reinstalling rogue spear too. That usually fixes a lot of stuff.

try rebuilding the desktop, that helps, or trashing the prefs, after i did that it stoped |
