I really would like some new weapons and uniforms... and missions for that matter... ive already modded the game some but i can only do so much with my modest talent... it would be cool to have some HK weapons or some other cool weapons... btw... But it would be great to get some new models of the guns already in the game fx the mp5 looks like crap... straight mag and all... :o and the OICW model has a 20 round mag in case you didnt notice... i kinda doubt that anyone would use 20 round mags for it (even tho you can) Title: Re: Hey coco... any plans for GR modding? Well to tell you the truth I dont "really" have the game either... ijust got a friend that fixed it through some... dubious means... It isnt released til this friday so ill buy it then... Post by: Josef Porta on November 22, 2001, 07:07:45 pm I checked it out and I think that alot of those weapons would not be used by special forces in the field... they are not rugged enough... like the HK psg1, its optics are much too sensetive to be used in the way that special forces use their weapons... I think the problem with most of the early mods that will come out for GR will be that people are still set in that RS/UO mindsetting of what will be "cool" in the game... not what would be realistic choices for a special forces team... remember that seals still use the tommygun because of its reliability... alot of them would prefer that over the newer subguns just because of that...

I put link up because it is the only weapons mod I know of in the works for GR. I would like to see a mod that brings together the Western and Eastern Euopean countries as well as Canada..etc , weapons that are in service with these nations armies.

I put in the m16a1.qob and .rsb from the Tac Mod to see if it worked... and it kinda did... the textures look great... its just that the gun is about 100m long! and HUGE!!!! 8) great way for coco to check out his textures tho :D Title: Re: Hey coco... any plans for GR modding?
