*DAMN R6 Forum

Just wanted to know what you think of the 1v1 tornament, I know that a lot of people have droped out, however, I still have found it quite fun. I think that tornaments like this are a good thing for the RS world, For example: I used to hate KoS Rebel, When I played him in my 1v1, I got to know him better, and found that he's a pretty good guy. I think that if you talk to pretty much anyone not in an arguement, you can learn to like them, I think that things like this are what brings the RS comunity together. ( Yes, I know that most all of this is spelled wrong, it's late, I'm tired ). Just would like to know what you all think.

Hey how come no one told me about this tourny =( i wanted to join

Due to the overwhelming response of people who missed the tournement we will be holding another in a short while (once we are into the next season) along with a clan tournement...and I'll make sure to advertise them (read whore them) everywhere so that there isn't a reason to not know.

Will the sencont 1vs1 tourny be through the battle league i think thats a cool idea and it would b easier

Good idea, perhaps also make a punishment for not doing your games. That way we wouldn't have as many people droping out.

Heh, it's funny how everyone supposedly pays attention to the forums, but somehow miss the tournaments...

I will be happy to help advertise the tournaments on the |?K| site for extra exposure if you guys like me too.  Also, I would like to be involved in making a page for the next tournament.  I can make it interesting and visually fun! ;D

p.s: someone needs to delete SK's spam, broken-english posts so he doesn't reach a high post count with strictly spam 4 word posts.  It is a lesson to be taught to everyone in quest for a post count with spam posts. >:(

Wasn't it my idea? ;).  Typhy the punishment with the first round will be you're kickedout.

SK, as this tournement was DAMN sponsored it was run through the BL, although next time we will be posting some stuff to the BL page, but I think it works best run out of the fourms because people can ask questions and it is just friendlier, but I'll put notices elsewhere.

The clan tournement will be much more BL focused as I'll be using end of season standings to seed the clans.

I'm sure I can get a page put up here...but if you want to be my html whore and actually get the page ready to be put up I suppose you could be helpful.  Maybe we can have just a tournement section with past winners, the current tournements, and all the announcements and sign-ups...  Or we could actually work at my level of technological intellegence and run it out of the forum again...I like the sound of the latter ;)

Well, I just beat Xoclipes on one of the all time great battles, comback city! I was down 4-1, and then 5-2, and came back to win it in OT, great games, I thank Xo for an amazing battle. Just thought that I should post this here too.
