    Discounting my own clan, since I gather that nepotism is not the intent of this thread, I'd rather play with or against the members of Cunt than just about any other clan. They're challenging opponents and most of them have a sense of humor which is compatible with mine, so the games are fun on at least two levels. : ) I wub you guys.

For me I think that the best clan to play with is AgT, they've got a wide range of players, I dunno, I guess thats mostly because I've got a lotta friends in AgT, still, I don't really have any reasons, I just enjoy playing with them - Most fun to battle with would have to be *NADS.

I always enjoy playing with KoS.  Best competition around.  Games are always fun when there are so many good guys in them.

!~Syrup~! was by and far the coolest clan ever. Can anyone really argue againt a clan with Kampergeek, Jesse, myself, CAM, Kol, et al?

However I think the most fun RS clan I ever played with was probably Swat. Their skill, and oso's c4 abilities were just so fun to be around.

I do find KoS a fun oponent, I never really got to play against or with SWAT though, I seemed to always be on their ignore lists.

The clan i enjoy playing with would probably be KoS because they are good natured guys (that I have seen, I've yet to play all of them..) that don't whine and make things a challenge.  The most fun clan to be in.. well, I don't have much of a basis for comparison but in my months of *NADS membership there has never been a time with my clanmates that I was not having fun. But then again i won't play favorites  ;D so i'd have to say that ?(uNt? looks fun to be a part of aside from that whole perpetual vulgarity that is never in short supply with those guys.

Virus, they let me DL shit.  and umm They send me videos of them drunk.  Not to mention they are very skilled. AND THEY SOUND COOL CUZ TEHY ARE FROM OTHER COUNTRIES!

SiX is (was?  what happened?) great.  They were extrodinarily good, and hilarious... sort of like the janitors!

Wow...I had fun in so many clans. My all time favorite was probably SAS with Artic Fox as the leader. Those were some good times, and a lot of nice people. Except one guy... SAS Thomas- a real bitch.  He got kicked the same day I got recruited. Anyway SAS was awesome, and I also met a lot of cool guys there.

I met many clans in my 2 years on GR and in the R6 community, and played with some of those clans who are dead today and those which still exist -  but some clans were and are legendary : SiX was always fun with, also Janitor ( in thise days i thought they were all crazy - sorry Loud but u were crazy , and that made it so funny tp play with u guys ), POD was a strong clan and had also cool guys in: Wrath, Boy and so on.
*DAMN in his best r6 time was one of my fav. to play with ( same humor and great pings ). But after all these good clans i found one the had an extraordinary tipe of humor, bit crazy and a bit serious : it was EUR - i wasnt i EUR in those days, but i liked them very much on the same level were the Virus Clan. Virus and EUR were definatly the best and funniest Clans to have some games with.

I'd have to agree with it being SiX, those days were the greatest....the almost every day news of Rogue being a whorebag....lol the pic of JN's fake fionce on the site...JN talking like a hick on the mic, JN singing, bah i miss those days.

Oh yes, you can't forget ViRuS. Me, Snipy, and Silvy had some really fun times...we were the first clan to make joke mp's...those were great. Our gimp wars, tk wars, and in-clan bashing... God i miss those times.

uhm.. well, i s'pose i'm a little biased in this, having my own fun clan, but i'd say the top fun clans right now are *NADS and ?(unt?.

I'd have to say that Dr's was my favorite clan to be in. It was first of all hard to get into to and I never really seemed under pressure and everyone respected the Dr's. HeHe I was the youngest

you can tell Holo is a wise man.  A vet, quite obviously.  Why?  His favorite clans?  SiX, cause they were good and crazy, POD, cause were good, and jn. because they we crazy.

Brain speaks the truth.  Heres how it went down...
(If you, like me, don't care what I have to say, for the love of god ignore the italicized paragraphs)

At the dawn of time two foolish n00bs  wandered into a compUSA to buy these new bondi blue "computers" everyone raved about.  Being foolish n00bs, they bought said computers, and got right down to buisness in a crappy warcraft II league.  After consuming to much fresca they formed a clan by the name of "the janitors"  After some shady practices they were banned forever.  But they learned a lesson.  They may not be bigger, stronger, smarter, or wiser than other gamers, but they sure were graced with a skewed sense of humour, and at ages 14 and 15, they sure as hell were no younger than the average gamer.

Two years later, (winter 2000/2001) they came upon r6 and GR.  They started a clan: [Janitor].  they had a following, but failure ensued, and they abondoned it.  They were terrible, but, as they were two years older, they were more coordinated, and quicker learners than before.  they rose into the ranks of one of the 3 premier clans, POD by name. (the others: SiX, SEALs)  During their ascent to greatness they discovered a foolish anti-clan (Syrup), and more importantly, a comic genius in that clan: Jesse.  The impression was everlasting.  

During the Summer of 2001 POD dissapated.  Only one choice was truly open to them.  Re-open the [Janitors].

With the memories of their Warcraft II havoc-making in their minds, jesse in their hearts, and fresca in their stomachs, blackhand and preciousroy recreated the janitors (jn.)  Hilarity ensued.  However, the founding members only let 2 mor in their ranks, their old clan leader wrath, and some crazy kid who followed p-roy around back with the [Janitor]s, Loudnotes.

All became, to some extent, inactive.  Sadness ensues.

That is the history of the Janitors, in a very short nostalgic synopsis.

So, in short, during 2001 there were dozens of good players in maybe 5 or  6 good clans.  The best of them (SiX) were  good enough to have alot of fun with it, cause they always won.  Some good, but not SiX material players (some of POD, jn., Syrup, some of the SEALs)  didn't care that they only sometimes won, and since it was a game, had fun with it.   Lots of tking, I assure you. But the introduction of RS, an influx of new players, and the loss of most SiX, SEALs, and others ended that.

A travesty.  A tragedy.
But now you have (unt I'm told.  And no doubt other good players.  Its not necessarily worse (Dont kid yourself, it is!) just different. (Don't let his PC crap fool ya, he looks down on you all.  All of you I say! Alllllll!!!111)

i guess if we seem funny to you. its because Cunt was formed as a joke clan. Bigpat is my best friend (in real life) and we got bored, and started out to have fun. Fun to me is not worrying. DVS from (unt just might be the funniest RS player in history. DR was my fav clan, to bad they aren't around much anymore. btw, i like the story roy

(unt is the funnest clan, but who can ignore all the noob clans and the newbie clans. they play so hard and die so EZ, camping, rushing, and nading to there deaths...but the funnest part about those clans is when they kill a vet. just 1 guy in the RS game and they say "OWNED" or "DIE". that really cracks me up. they never see the ? ? ::) ? ? or the ?:P ? or when you open the door and ?:-[ ?and they are like ?>:( ?:o ???? those are the funnest clans to me

1) *ANGELs* were also a state of the art clan - no whyning, they had an unbeleavable teamplay: they were not that skilled ( evryboday for its own ) but their teamplay was awsome. And Unbeattable.

U said the truth that after RS hs come, all went down. The game was no more the fun it was before.
New players - Whyning b/c of lag - although most ppl having cable and a ping under 200.
When i started most ppl had 56k connections - and that was really fun u needed luck, skill and more luck to win, and u had to learn how to use the lag for your agvantage, but today evreybody bitch arround b/c of lag or little delay.

I have to mention one player who ; DAMN CDiabolo. HE played on hosts with 600 ping and owned.
We always had fun - with lag and without and we always could laufg about our fault and stupidness inside the game.
That was the differnce to nowadays.

once upon a time there was a noob. This was a true noob, who had just gotten GR and was trying to decide on a name to use. You see, he was so noob he had never used an online gaming service before, and he didn't have any online aliases. After toying around with the names of various charachters from the Metal Gear series for a couple months, he decided it was time for a new name.

So, on one fateful day a in June of 2001 when he was a bit less noob and knew what clans were, he was trying to decide on a new name and happened to be listening to Anti-Flag. Lo and behold, their song "Captain Anarchy" comes on. Well, he thinks, that's a pretty good name, but it looks kinda lame all alone. It needs a clan tag. After toying around with a couple other obscene words, he decides on *NADS which is less offensive tha the others. Thus *NADS begins.

And thus it stays for 6 months. A single member of a noob clan. During this time, he loses most of his noobness and becomes more ownage. and then, on that fateful day in december, a certain "cookie" asks the dreaded question:

"hey capt, can i join *NADS?"

Now, Capt. does not know cookie. capt. has barely even seen cookie around. but he says:

"ummm... sure."


and that is how *NADS became a true clan with enough members to participate in CBs.

btw, most fun clan: i dont think anyone can say, since no-one has been in all of em.

it all started one about 10 months ago...
*make up your own flashback effects here*(you've seen enough movies to make up some good ones)

i had just gotten the full version of rogue spear and had begun to play regulary

unlike most noobs, i realized that i sucked, bad, i mean REALLY bad(you might almost say bondo bad), so i decided that i was going to go and work on training my self to be better, i wanted to be in a clan, but not just any clan, SWAT. (ath this time they were 6-0 and sitting at the top of the bl)

*flash foreward to a few months later*
so now it's a few months later and i want to be in a clan, ANY clan. i fancy my self to be a fairy good sniper, and i am actually doing fairly well, especially using the styer scout from CS2. and so one day i joined  a cs2 sniping game with mtr3 maps. and pretty soon i found myself among a few people who are are fairly evenly matched as snipers(it was about 50/50 odds on any of us getting a kill) were were picking each other off, picking ppl out of trees off the ground, across the map. having the a grand old time, and then the thought hit me
why not start a clan?
so i lobbed the question  to the best player out there at the time and suprizingly he said yes. the rest of the players in the game agreed in short order. that left one small detail left unresolved, the name. we settleld on [ESS1] or elite sniper squad 1(it was late at night, give us a break)
i went to bed that night feeling pretty good about myself, i was the leader of a new clan.

when i woke up the next morning recruiting began for the new clan

the first guy who showed up was an assault player, and forced me to realize that we needed to have more than just snipers in our clan. and so right then and there i changed the clan name to taf(to reflect the new scope of the clan). i also realized over the night that our clan needed to have a purpose so we didnt die a few days after being formed. so then i set  a lofty goal for TAF, our goal was going to be to hand swat it's first loss on the bl!

well to make a long story short, swat desolved before we ever cbed the and we had 15 straight losses and then  i left the clan when i came home from college due to the fact that i couldnt play with them any more. and now taf still kinda exists but it's pretty much dead now

It's fun playing with any clan.  Like cookie said, that's what its all about....fun....i try not to forget that.

There are lots of clans that I find it fun to play against in normal games, but when it comes to cbing against, It has to go to the former KotA and now *NADS, both offer a good chalange, good hosts, and no complaining at all, joking around the whole time, talking etc. Makes for some great battles.

The must fun clan to play with is AK becasue u can just own them the whole time and watch them winE!!!

I think our clan is rather funny when you consider the Schitt family we're involved with. ?We make it fun playing RS as a team in any game we join and definately funner in CB's, where action gets more intense. 8)

you guys all seem to be forgetting the best clan of all time;  CIA!  they never cheated, never ducked cbs, the skill level was phenomenal, and omg the skilled leadership!  too bad CIA tasefuly disbanded to make things easier for sub-par clans like kos!

Yes CIA did cheat....mainly Romulus, i can remember his SAW hack. it was a mod to the gun that made all the shots explosive and the fire rate slower. he made it so damn powerful that he actually made the damn gun weak. he lost the CB and thats when they found out he cheated. ?;D lmao he still clames he did not cheat till this day. ?;D oh and btw i never cheated nore did the members of CIA it was just fagulus.

I wasn't even around in the CIA days  ;D I started playing in december or something...

those CIA days were interesting... then there was a bit of time of rest, and calm on gameranger untill... AK ;D

i feel i have to add my story. Well, i already typed it in the wrong thread, to i copied it and decided to paste in a thread where it would be on topic ?:)

First some non-RS-related MacMan stuff: last summer, i first got in contact with GR, while playing AoE, i soon joined ?a clan, AoEM, and fought happily in that bug-littered old app. AoEM died, i started AoEW, i left AoEW, and my 2nd in line took over, made it AoE2W.
I left for RSD.

Back in august 2001, i saw my little brother play a very odd game he called "Rogue Spear". Having just dropped out of AoE and Planetarion (it became Pay2Play, bah), i needed something to pass the time with. So here begins the same old story, playing till one drops, learning, losing, winning, etc.
One day i met a guy called Dominator (turned out not to be as gay as his name sounded, and dutch too).
We started playing as a team, him hosting Mautis Automobile Museum in RSD, the both of us playing as blue, and winning with smaller teams all the time. In the end we got pretty good at it, taking on 8v2. We also got rather cocky ?;D .
Then Domi was asked by the |NS| clan to join (they were a pretty good RSD clan). I was asked to join <NiteStrike>, a rather short-lived and sad clan, and i soon moved on to bigger and better things, joining my friend Domi in |NS|.
Then |NS| leadership went inactive, and we (Domi and me) started |OS|. Around that same time, Dominator changed his name to Godfather. happily in |OS|, we rumbled on with iMat, Asskicker, and some others (Dragonic etc.) We found a thing called the "*DAMN BattleLeague" and since every time we wanted to cb, someone asked us if we were on it, we decided to sign up. Bah, in februari 2002, we disbanded |OS| since it had become too messy for us. We started again as [R], with just Godfather, iMat, and me (more joined of course). Well, then iMat, BeefyFigure, and iPlod left, and we are as it is now (well, almost, but i'm done typing for now).

btw, i know the post is messy, but who cares?
