Title: New *DBL Mappack in the works?
Post by: -ViP-PUNiSHER on May 13, 2005, 02:40:49 am
Are there any plans to release a *DBL Map Pack 3 with new maps and fixed WZ spawns on older maps?

from my knowledge, a few small things will be put into an updater type of thing (Like Changing the spawn points on chalet) but other than that, maybe a new game type or two and changes to the FFA ladder, but no new maps in general are planned for the season starting in a couple weeks.

I AM NOT AN ADMIN, just trying to help out!

I don't think we will be releasing a new map pack this season. We have decided that it is probably better to hold off, and make sure the map pack is complete and ready for action, rather than send it out early, and have it be full of holes.

Yes we have discussed and are looking to release a new mappack in the future... but like spike said this isn't going to happen for next season.
As before Tin we are very much looking for input from the community as to how this map-pack is made up, we have had some suggestions but the impetus is very much on you guys. Maps, spawn spots, and game modes need to be extensively tested and we need that feed back from u guys to ensure that if and  when we do release a map-pack it is a map-pack that the community is happy with and that will not cause unnecessary problems and grief as in previous releases.
