*DAMN R6 Forum

I'm having a really weird bug in RS at the moment - it seems to only happen in single player/co-op although it doesn't seem to happen in adversarial - but in the middle of the action, the game suddenly quits to a grey screen, and the sound loops continually.

It's been happening a lot recently - I've done a re-install, junked prefs, everything - but I can't seem to get rid of it - it happens in a variety of maps, with no discernable pattern.

Now, the only hardware I've added recently is the excellent SoundBlaster and I was wondering if that could be it - and whether anyone was having the same problems?

My mac: G3/466, V5, lots'o'ram.

wicked! i have this problem in co-op only, where i warp like 5x across the screen!   i have a 1.5MB line, so why would it be warping, on a fast DSL server? plz help!

Sheep - When we played onyour servers before, there was NO lag... reccently, even tho w are only 260 miles apart, i FLY around the map... there is a lag problem i think, but how do i fix it? WICKeD! 'see the lag, feel the lag, be the lag'..heh

Also, Some of my Mac friends are having crashing problems. They have been de-fraging their HD's and scaning for everything... AND reinstalling... damn nothing works! need a new patch!

The bug is just apart of RS.  There's no real reason for it, and reinstalling wont help.  WE NEED TO GET THE PATCH, BECAUSE THATS THE ONLY WAY TO TRUELY FIX THE PROBLEM!!!!  The bug is annoying and very inconvenient, but still there are no fixes.  If you own RS, you have the incurable bug.
