Yeah i beat you too it mauti im afraid but i guess it dosn't count in the spam drop box heh.

I love d iAlert, just great. if i had a motion sensor in my laptop i would get it without a second thought! :)

The creator is now making a full version, since the current one is beta, and in the current version, he adds the capability that if the MBP get stolen, the Mac's web cam (iSight) will take a snap shot of the theif's face and email it to an email you designated.  In addtion, there is another similar type of alert system, sorry can't remember what it is or who makes it, but if someone steals it, it locks the system and when a person bring it to an Apple store, the Mac genius will be prompted that its a stolen system.

However, I don't know if this can be avoided if you install a new HD, at which point, a new MAC address is assigned, and I assume the system won't be locked anymore.....if this is the case, I assume it will only be catered to the idiots who don't know Mac or computing in general.
