Title: April Quiz-Bonus Question Post by: BTs_GhostSniper on April 23, 2005, 01:04:23 am Here it is, the April Quiz! This month, the quiz will be split into 3 sections, each containing 3 questions. The winner of each section will receive $20 Cash (U.S.), and the winner of the most sections will receive $20 Cash (there will be a tie-breaker question if needed). Also, there will be a 10th question that will be a bonus, also worth $20 Cash. That's $100 up for grabs for the April Quiz!
This Quiz is about World War II: 10. Bonus Question--How many Doolittle Raiders were on Active Duty the day World War II ended, September 2, 1945, and how many of those Raiders witnessed the surrender ceremony on the deck of the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay on that date? It has a list of all the raiders, and a mini bio on most of em. Although I can't confirm it, I would imagine it would say who was where when the war was over, while most sites just list who was shot down in the raid...

The correct answers are: There were 53 Doolittle Raiders on active duty the day the war ended, and only one person from the raid was on the USS Missouri for the surrender ceremony on September 2, 1945.
