Well actually... I find it hard to believe Sturm did anything enough to deserve banning. A lot of us enjoy playing on the MP servers. Sturm's been a good guy.

I'm really posting here because I wanted to make a request to unban c| 4rcher. I know for sure that his ban was accidental. He usually plays during the daytime hours (US), and the MP server is sometimes the only good room around.

Not sure what Sturm did to deserve banning. I really hope this isn't childish clan ban wars.

I get on quite well with most members of MP, but i find it really rediculous when they boot all 56kers and anyone from outside the US.

I have been kicked on numerous occasions from their server, but, have hosted many games that included them quite happily.

I think that some members of MP need to grow up and accept that not everybody has a T1 connection in Southern California.

trying to start a flamewar certainly isn't going to do anything. If you actually want to talk about this try an email mp@macclans.com . I don't know why your banned, it could be a mistake, but i'll look into it.

Jedda, server#2 is in detroit and lag can be a major issue sometimes with connections from down under, however rarely have i booted anyone for it. I noticed that lastnight fassst was bitching at you for being from Australia, but he is a generally closed minded Quebecois pothead ;), and we enjoyed playing with you guys lastnight. Most of the booting that happens is because someone didn't ready up, or because we are making room for another MP.

And SsickBoy, i remember banning 4archer a while ago for a reason i can't remember. I'll try to unban him since he is a nice guy but he pissed me off in some way awhile ago. As it stands right now server#2 isn't fully dedicated like it once was (magnet took over the computer bucc was using as the server) so it is only hosted occasionally on a different computer. So basically bucc has to do this by hand because no one has remote access since the computer change.

But in other MP server news Ace's server begins its usual duties on a OC12+ connection from LA on the 20th of August. :D

Thank you Ace. You have always been a brilliant host and I have never had any problems in your server, but, people like fassst, who continuously try to prompt the 'banning' of an entire clan based on geographical position really piss me off..

I would be happy to have any member of any clan, in any world position in my server and just hope that I could expect the same from others.

It was the whole CQB issue why all the BTs were banned. I thought it appropriate only to ban eight until he rethought the CQB mod (not like he would of cared), not the whole of BTs for apparent "assosiation."

Rarely will you get a ban, most likley a boot for not being ready, if you crashed, or absolutley horrid lag.

Well if you are banned by me its probablly because I got sick of your gross incompatance. So please, dont be incompetant!

I think being booted for pissing off a host is fair, but I am BANNED and I didn't piss any hosts off. Do I have to consult with [MP] before I join every game on Gameranger? I am the third newest grunt in BTs so please don't throw out the baby with the bathwater lol,

I was on NF earlier tonight with Bucc while I was reading this thread, and it occurred to me to ask Bucc if he'd unbanned S.p.i.d.e.r. He hadn't, so he took the opportunity to do so. Since Bucc didn't know Spider's IP, he just deleted everything in the ban file (which turned out to be quite extensive). So, anybody who was banned unjustly, come on back, and anybody who was banned for being a dumbfuck, well, I'm sure you'll be banned again soon enough. Once a dumbfuck, always a dumbfuck.

The bans that I removed were the IP bans, where I couldn't identify the people. Most of BTs are still banned, since I'm the one that did it, just as I posted I would a month ago.

STuRM, I've explained to you why you were banned from my server. Don't like it, sorry. It's not like I didn't say it more then once.

Jedda, there shouldn't be anyone on OZ that's banned. Let me know if someone is having a hard time joining.

Like BTs have said when talking about their own games, it's the hosts game, if he doesn't want you there, so be it. Simple concept, funny how they bitch when the shoes on the other foot though.

there is quite a distinction between being booted from a game for inappropriate behavior and BANNING people because they expressed dissension concerning [MP]'s attempted strong-arming of the WARZONE MOD as the DAMN R6 Battle Leauge Format. You deny that you are trying to overthrow the DAMN R6 BL, YET BANNING PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY DISAGREE WITH YOU (OUTSIDE OF A GAME) IS PROOF POSITIVE THAT YOU WILL STOP AT NOTHING TO ATTEMPT TO FOIST YOUR LAME MOD ON THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY.

Funny, I usually stay out of this nonsense because it is basically just that.

It's understood. The playground is too small for all of us and we can't play near each other anymore. Welcome to a world of I hate a few so I hate them all type reasoning. Just yesterday we were having some great games with some MP peeps. Funny, wasn't a ban there. But hey, who am I to past judgement when it's JUST A GODDAMN GAME. Check the ego at the log-in and shoot someone. This game is supposed to relieve stress and tension not create it.

This is very upsetting Bucc. I thought we worked out the issue with the MOD but you still ban us. No worries we will continue to let MP peeps play on our servers cause we can let things go. As Fah said, this is a game.... Lets have some fun, cause thats what games are for.

As for BTs_members, we know were Bucc sits, Let him sit there by himself. This means NO unnecessary banning/booting of MP Players and NO more giving him the Time of day to post about this issue (NO MORE POSTING ABOUT IT). I say all this cause, "I'm a big kid now" (Shameless plug for pull-up diapers)... ;D

P.S. Bucc I hope we can work though this issue sometime....

I believe that the Bts clan and the MP clan can work this out somehow. I have spoke to many of both clans(on netfone) and all seem to be a great bunch of noobs. ;)

Fusion, it was worked out a while ago when Eight said to me "well, we'll have him remove the stuff and that's it or you can fuck off if you don't like it" to which I responded that if he chose that route, I'd just disassociate myself from people like him, that have no class. I posted long ago what I would do, and how I felt about it. Sorry if you didn't take that seriously, but what else can I do? Loth said that almost everything of his was out, but that doesn't change my opinion of what went on, or how it was handled. And, as I posted before, I just don't feel like sharing my bandwidth with anyone that, in my opinion, lacks the class to see what we were talking about.

It's real simple. It was worked out, and this was part of it. Loth is satisfied that his files are (mostly) not being used anymore, but does that mean he's happy about it? Does it mean that I'm happy about it, with all the bullshit that Eight gave me?

STuRM, so glad you could actually read (note the sarcasim there). Thanks for that bullshit about strong arming again. Keep accusing it without backing it up, and maybe even you will believe it. As I responded to you before, and without the insults you shot towards me, when you asked where it was said that I'd ban people, I showed you.

OK, the whole banning me from the MP servers was shitty.
I remember playing on one of their servers, when it crashed. Now, some of my good friends whome I will not name ... (soc was one of them if I remember :p ) told the mp host that I had crashed the server.
....
Now we had our laughs and all, they said it was a joke, guess someone didnt hear it cus when the server was up again ... guess what. I got the "banned" message.
Some weeks later orso i was talking to some mp guys and they thought for some reason that i was someone that also had another account for some reason who used cheats or stuff and could crash servers or something like that. Well for all clarity, I'm not that guy. I told them all of this and they said they were gonna have a trial or something like that. Well that was then, ... this is now. Don't know if i'm still banned.

Archer, Jeb can't remember why he banned you, so it's been removed.

Some 10 people were banned by IP in the game, but since nobody in MP posted who or why on our ban page, they have all been removed.

Anyone else. If you are concerned, worried, etc, about a ban from our servers, please see this page (http://mp.macclans.com/staticpages/index.php?page=20030313005947164). That contains the people that are banned, the reason why, when it happened, and who banned them. If you aren't on that list, you are not banned (I've checked the server). If you are having problems connecting, let us know.

If you are on the list and want off, send us an e-mail as to why (address is on the page). Otherwise, don't complain about being on it.

Wow this is the First server I have ever been banned from lol.

And to think, I tried to work this issue out(and thought I did). Well no worries there are a lot of other servers out there. I hope one day you can let things go Bucc. But if you cant oh well, its your loss. I, for one, will continue to play with MP players, because this is a game and is suppose to be fun. MP members will STILL be welcome on our servers, except maybe you bucc, not much I can do about that, I guess they want to return the favor to you. Speaking of which, we just played in a few great games with ACE and Cossack, and guess what, we had fun. Anyway good luck and have some fun........

Anyway something i learned is that 2 wrongs seems make it right around this neighbourhood.

Well heres my bitching.

The minute I left BTs i asked eight to return my screenshots that i had taken and gave eight permission to use on the BTs site. He said "no" "bts property now". I did not ask him to remove those wich were allready online, just that he would not use the other ones i sent him. But i just got a strict no >:(

He has not yet put the ss's online but has threatened to do so, i hope that this post might prevent him from doing so by lowering a huge cloud of shame uppon him ;D

Yes im sure you can come up with a lot of nice excuse why you should be allowed to use em, and yes I have no legal right on them...but when all is said and done, your planning on using MY screenshots aggainst MY will..right?

Fusion, nice to know that you really miss the whole point. The reason that the people are banned is because I don't find it enjoyable to play games with people I feel (my opinion here) have little or no class. I clearly posted that a month ago. It's the BTs guys that are all up in arms about it now, not me.

If you understood this, you'd understand that I would never want to play on one of these guys servers, as it would pretty much be the same thing.

Let me give you an analogy. If I don't want someone in my house because they smell like they use dried dog feces as soap, why would I want to go to their house either?

So banning me is of little use, since I wouldn't be there anyway. But, if it makes you (or them) feel better about it, go right ahead.

Joka, Eight doesn't seem to care about other peoples efforts or wishes, all he seems to care about is making BTs the center of the universe at any cost. I understand why it bothers you, but I doubt you'd ever get anywhere with him.

I think BTs is a better and more classy clan than |MP|s. You never find bullshit "list" on the BTs site of people they "banned". Hell, BTs rather they join their game, and then kill them! ::) This whole issue has been greatly mishandled by the |MP|s, who are the ones looking for all the attention in the universe, and grow frustrated when the attention is not on them, but on a rivalry clan, BTs. BTs has provided a lot to our community in a positive way, and it's a lot more than can be said about the |MP|s, who are out to try and gain popularity by being straight up assholes. Whatever, it's too bad these |Mindless Proffessionals| work with just that, no mind. lol. Had they a little psychology, they would know that acting like an asshole to a community, is only a way to grow more unpopular. Hell, they think they're smart, yet act like jackasses. Why don't we all just boycott the stupid ass |MP| servers, and not have to deal with their ways. All they want is easier competition, so they ban all good competition in hope to accumulate those so needed kills. How bout you |MP|s get a life, and stop dramatizing this video game with your crap. Hell, you act as if you're good or something, yet can't even make to the finals in 2 seasons, after you said last season you'd make it here. sorry but if you ban someone because he is french what kind of guy are you then?
Can you explain to me why being french should be a good reason for being banned? I could ban all americans just because I dont like them, sounds so stupid wich would make you not better then BTs.
And can anyone tell what the CQB Mod is? You seem to love banning people for that mod.
