Finals season 4:

alright guys a short summary how the finals work:

The finals are divided into three rounds, each lasting one week. All rounds are played as best of 3 cbs, which means the clan that first wins 2cbs is the winner of the round. Further all final cbs have to be a best of 10.

The first round cbs are: 1st vs 6th, 2nd vs 5th, 3rd vs 4th. The best 4 clans by skillpoints proceed to the second round. 2nd round games are 1st(by skillpoints) vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd. The first 2 clans by skillpoints proceed to the final round. Winner of the season is the clan with the highest final skillpoints.
Attention: in the finals you have to play! At the start of each final round each clan posts 4 dates and times at the BL forum where you have time to cb(at least 2hours). Then you agree to one date, time and number of players. If you can't agree an admin will decide date and time(the default number of players is 3vs3).

Alright all final clans post 4dates(day and time, i.e. 1.) saturday 28th June 10:00pm CET; 2.) 28th June 11:00pm CET,...)for each cb that means a total of 12dates, may you only need to play 2cbs but nevertheless you have to post 12dates. The opponent also has to post 12dates or if you already agree with 3 set times from the other clan you just post a confirmation of the times. You have to agree to 3cbs until each rounds wednesday. If you can't agree an admin will set the times for you until thursday of the current round.

All in all I don't care how you agree to the dates and times, you only have to set the times until each finals wednesday and post the dates when you play here and the other clan has to confirm this! A word of caution agreed dates and times count as started cb so if you don't appear you lose.

On the set date and time you meet in GameRanger and play a best of 10cb(you can of course play all 3cbs at once). As usual you post the score at the cb dropbox.

If both clans fail to show up/fail to play their at max 3cbs/round the next 2 clans by skillpoints will replace your bracket.

Ok that's it just post your times!

Alrighty MOD, looks like this will most like end up being a weekend CB fest due to the timezone differences.  Most of us are available after 5 or 6pm PST on the weekdays, which is about 2am your time.  no good for you.  Earlier than that we are at work, so i propose we get this baby on starting saturday.  Possibly 2 on saturday and 1 on sunday, or vice versa.  So I'm thinking we can start at 11am PST/1900 GMT, and take it from there.  Let me know what you guys think, and if you can think of a way to do any of the CBs earlier, then excellent.

I can't speak for the rest of the Network but those times don't work for me. Wednesday after 7pm EST, Thursday and Friday after 8:30pm EST are good for me. Saturday and Sunday after 7pm EST are also ok. As long as I know the day before.

BFG is the only euro player....i sure we can do something better then ALL day saterday cb fest...some of us have lives.  Sides we have a few euro players as well who are up for this fight (nark, lin) and are on line right now waiting for this agreed to time.  You told me it would be ok to do a late night fight BFG...time to train up the other 4000 MOD members =P

The times the Network can cb Virus:

Monday through Thursday 4:30 pm to 1:00 am pac time
Friday 5:00 pm  through Monday 1:00 am

Any time inbetween those timeslots.

Heya! As u prolly noticed, I got a lil problem with Time Zones. Mb I will learn it sometimes, but I don?t really want to, so?

Anyways, Killa?s are avaiable on Sunday from 12:00 GMT to 15:00 GMT. Well, I will be online much more, but the fact that I got only 1 active teammember makes it a lil difficult for me. So if Sunday rubberduck is not online, we play 1v2!

About the members, I know it?s a rule, but since I have problems with my member (he has his final exams) I?d like to ask u if I can recruit 1 or 2 players for the finals?! That would be great!

 Originally he said Wednesday the 25th and I told him that we might because I might have to watch my sisters little rugrats,  well I do and cannot do it on the 25th.  God I hate that woman.  Anyway,  we will have to find a time to finish the second game, but it cannot be on Wednesday.  Sorry.  But the 26th I see no problem with finishing the cb.  I will let my other guys know, and see what I can set up.

Thursday sounds good.  please try to get more than 3 of your CB online if you can.  Out of 23 members, surely you can find one more that is able to fight in the finals.

uh, well.....we can cb anytime after 8:00 pm central time as long as we have members on, which we usually do. Noon on sunday is a very bad time for me, since I will most likely be at work. And as far as recruiting a few ?ringers? for finals...I would object to this...it should be for players who made the finals before finals started. You should have done what typhy did and recruit the best players right b4 finals to take an easy win.

6/26/03 is fine for me aswell.  Can we agree to the same time, and like splinter and all of us at c| would say MORE then a 3v3?  Respond tonight plz so we can mail the clan and have them here.

yes, i understand, and that is why we are asking for a 4v4, you said you have 4, it would be nice if all 4 where there.  

i feel bad for the 20 or so other members of your clan that don't get to play.

In concerns to [V]iRuS.  The |n|`Network can CB 7 days a week, but being that we are U.S. based and some of our guys are in the Pacific and Mountain Time Zones, the times might be later than you would like.  The times go as followed:

     Monday - Thursday: 00.00 GMT to 09.00 GMT

     Friday: 22.00 GMT through Monday 09.00 GMT

     There might be some times that we are on outside of those time slots, but that would be more due to chance than planning.  Either way, if we can set a good amount of time aside, we can get the whole thing finished at once.  Also, Saturday is perfect for us because I do not think that anyone has anything to do or anywhere to be.  This might be more suitable since ViRuS is Euro based.  Contact me through Game Ranger if you need clarification or confirmation.

Almost every morning: 12-1
Almost every night: 5-6 or anytime after 12.

I always see some ?ce on so it shouldn't be a problem.

Just so everybody knows we are working on it, [one] and BTs have set a tentative time for our first (only?) match for Friday 1630 GMT, pending confirmation by enough [one] members to give us a squad. We are in fact trying to make it a REALLY BIG cb (DAMN ruling- is a 10 vs 10 acceptable? It will force us to use all 4 squad slots which changes the format) but are aware of the time constraints as well and don't want to hold up the show. Most of our planning is happening in Game Ranger but I wanted to let the league know that the two clans are on top of it and moving forward.

Alright MoD, welcome to the semi-finals. I will be the person in charge of setting up the cbs this round. Just let me know when you can cb. We should be able to do it most times. We are expecting 3v3 matches, although we would like a 4v4 of a 5v5, I understand that your cb team may not be able to preform this task. Please contact me asap with the times you are available. Monday through Thursday --  5:00 pm to 12:00 am pac time

Friday  5:00 pm  through Saturday 12:00 am pac time

Hey Fusion. Cool. ok. All sounds good.

We'd also like to do bigger than 3v3.. At this point in time its not looking hot, havn't been able to make contact with a couple of guys.. but either me or sab will let you know asap if we can do bigger... appologies if not.

Best times for us are Tuesday (tommorow) and Wednesday night:
6pm EST and onwards for each one. Preferably not starting after 7:30ish EST

...unreal man, we have valdar going out of town this week.  Lin bought a PC and does not play ghr anymore.  Kain, who knows.  Pyro looks like he's taking time off, we have not seen him around much.  SsickBoy is taking .5 this week off for work i think.  Nark we see from time to time (euro player).  Bob is new to the clan.  Grendel is...i have no idea.  So it looks like me, Splinter, and BlackMantis for the fight with |n|.  Sorry guys, we tryed to get a 4v4 with ya tonight before val took off, but |n| could not pull it together.  Unless we get Lin back from that damned PC, it looking like 3v3 hell :(

But trust me, when it's me, grape and goks you wont walk away so lucky...since you turned down all requests for a rematch in regular season. Mostly cuz you didnt wanna tarnish that little 3-0 record...pussies. I am here when Im here, usually every night around 6-8 unless Im out doin other things. Sorry if you and your euroteam can't find time to be here when the rest of the world is on.

Come to think of it, Im pretty sick and tired of all your pathetic trash talking and weak taunts as well, so either show up with a better attitude for a cb or you can forget it. I could really give a shit about this season anyway with all the bs that has gone on. I'd rather see nobody win the season than to see Ace walk away with a cheap ass undeserved win.

I just want to clarify that |n| is really excited to cb those fine folks over at c|....we've posted our times....and it's looking grim for them to get the ppl online. We can't seem to schedule anything. It really turns my stomach to think that the great season they have had will end with such a whimper, a washout.

But just to clarify...if we can't schedule a cb and the week goes by.... we won't BOTH be removed from the ladder, right? I assume that the above quote from Mauti was in reference to a situation where neither clan was able to compete.  

So, does c| need to agree to a time and just not show up? Can they stall until Sunday and let Mauti set a time for next week? Or if we wake up on sunday morning and have not cb'ed, will one or both of us be removed from the ladder? Will we have to cb another clan instead?

Don't count us out just yet.  It just sucks that the large majority of the clan just happened to go on vacation/have family emergencies all at once.  We only have 3 members that around to CB right now.  As soon as we get our 3 online, we'll be ready to go.  I've put the word out to our team that it's go time, so i'll be online tonight, tomorrow and all weekend to get this going.

Fear not |n|, you will get your chance!!!

Let c| hire a free agent.....!!  My manager has all the paperwork ready so I can clear waivers.

lol abs, yes I had a few noobs in TF6...they are gone now, cept for dylbeano and he will be gone as soon as he logs on. Seems hes a bit racist for me. And yes, me and Grape challenged you and duck twice, but both times you had to go, or he did. Sorry for my egotistical remark, it was very early in the morning when i wrote that, my bad. But at this point none of the RS teams have done the cb's, so even if we did cb the winner still would not advance simply because their would be no challenger. Everyone has to have the cb's done by saturday or it's over, and at the current rate I don't think it will happen. But rest assured, if you and another show up and I have another online we will do all 3 rounds if possible.

k, sounds good to me. You know, i just like cbing and i dont want the rs ladder to die :( Hopefully there will be another ladder next season, so we rs veterans can still fight eachother. I will ask ACE for a cb, just to let people know wether they good or not. And to have some cb fun (i didnt have that much vs Daf)  ;D
