Sorry, but that's just a waste of electricity...I can't think of a single reason to remain connected 24/7....my DSL gives me a nice dynamic IP each time, which is a bit more secure, the computer is on only when I need it, and it takes a whopping 5 seconds to connect. Not that I don't want you to connect to my server, but you ought to have the 10seconds patience to see if I'm online or not...
