Noto with mod status? really? why? how come? wtf?

this is some wierd shit.... Noto and few others threaten to start new league. Noto ends up being a mod!!  ??? ???

It would be great if someone could inform us. Perhaps Noto himself?
Why would you become a *DAMN BL admin if you are trying to start a league of your own? Or won't there be a new league after all?

I think noto has proven that he can be a resonable and intelligent man when he sets his mind to it, I for one welcome him as a fresh breeze in the admin group.

If you read my last long post in the Meeting point thread I offered Noto to join the BL admin team few days ago to show him that most points brought up in the discussion are wrong and to give him the possibility to add his ideas and suggestions which obviously represent the opinions of few players.

2days ago Noto pmed me that he would like to join the BL admin team and that he would prefer to add his suggestions to the BL instead of creating a new one. I said yes that's the story. But since his pm I didn't hear anything from him again so maybe he changed his mind. I don't know - we will see if adds his ideas before season 6 starts or not.

Last i talked with noto he was gona give the *DAMN BL another chance, i hope he's still on this road  :)

And i think we should give him and those that had plans to start this new league a warm welcome back rather than making them feel unwelcomed. Cause after all, we need them to make this a vivid and intresting ladder.

Theres something about this in the bible too..."there was 2 shepards both with a son. One day both their sons decided to leave for the big world, both father said no no no no, hell no. But the sons left anyway. After a few years they both returned broke and looked like shit. The other father said "i warned you to leave, get out your not my son" the other said "welcome back my son". The 2nd father got a whole harem and the whole kingdo....errrr...well something like that.

Although here i hope they dont leave at all, so they can help us with the sheep all along.

Eight for season 6 we gonna have a new control structure where probably also a BTs member will be part off.

That Noto becomes an admin doesn't has anything to do with his ladder more with his attitude to change/improve things and that he seems to speak for few people. I don't care if he would create an own league.  I didn't say something when BTs or Tribe made their own leagues so why should I when N does. I know it is extreme much work to administrate and keep running a league and most people don't realize this. Further if the *DAMN BL would go down I wouldn't be sad that's also a point that people don't get into their heads. The BL was a project while I played much R6 nowadays it is a free service I provide with the help of few admins(thanks) but if it goes down I have one thing to worry less about. Of course the BL fullfills me with pride because of the things I have achieved with it but if it is no more I could care less. Same with offering mods. I know how to convert them myself and if everybody boycotts my site or doesn't want to make use of *DAMN live goes on and I have much less work and probably finally time again to play the game instead of working for it.

mauti... i cant read that many posts... i know i can get bored at work but heck cant read them all.

eight's got a point mauti, sorry noto but in my opinion someone from BTs or |!| i would prefer to see. Like civic, BTs and |!| theres usually someone on all the time.

heh mb u could even bring it into the rules... the winner at the end of a season replaces a MOD for the next one and so on. a winner's incentive, that way the MOD might get changed every season, and make other clans try harder.

to noto, this is not a personal attack on you, and i am glad you are coming back to the BL and dropped the idea of another league.... lets hope season 6 will  be a lot better, and hope ppl have learnt from this one. (probably not though)

First almost all mods here volunteered to be an admin. If someone of BTs or ! would have asked me to become admin I would have answered: "at the moment we have enough admins, but if we need someone I contact you"(as many got similiar answers) or "welcome in the BL team". Easy as that and please let me post the Admin structure thread, where most of your questions will be answered, so we don't have to discuss everything twice  ;)

You got the key phrase there Joka.  When he decides to be reasonable.  It almost seems unfair, because some try every waking moment of their lives to be reasonable, and do not choose otherwise on principle.  These same others having the same qualities which Mauti says he sees in Noto.  What one thing sets Noto apart from these more qualified players whom I mention?  Noto is the most vocal of the rebellious.  I have to say I'm disappointed at his acceptance to the mod team, even given that Noto and I share the same clan.


Mauti, Noto was not online yesterday due to his schedule.  Beginning of the week is never good for him (job, classes).  I expect you will see more of him now.  Best wishes improving the league.

I apologize for my absence over the past few days.  School and work have kept me extremely busy this week.  As most of you are probably experiencing this, my finals actually happen the week after Thanksgiving, which is soon... so soon.

I have posted a new topic on this forum in regards to the new league discussions, which were taking place over at The .::|N|etwork forums.  I thank all of you that posted your ideas, concerns, etc.  As I stated in my new post on this forum and on the .:::|N| forum, the new league discussions will remain viewable for the period of one week, so that anyone may still read the ideas, concerns, etc. that people had in concerns to creating a new league.  I think there were many ideas that the *DAMN BL could benefit from, as long as they are presented in a somewhat professional manner.  "Make get Papa its own ladder because it's hella fun" will most likely not be considered as a professional presentation of an idea.  ;D

I hope that there are no hard feeling towards .::|N|, myself, or any other clans or clan members that participated in the new league discussions.  I only wish to move on and focus on the challenge I presented in my new post located here:   ;)  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~damnr6/yabbse/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=5136)

err TRIBE ever created their own league? hmm I must have missed that , but I need to admit our clanleader never liked this league.
Anyway congrats to noto in becoming an admin so I shall need to ask how old he is
 ;D . Well I dont have much problems in him being a admin he has proven that he can be well what the hell you need to be an admin. But offcorse if he has the time for it and is online enough.
I dont like the idea that clans would get an admin, I mean how you gone choose wich clans get an admin and wich dont, there are to many clans. And then you got people saying and why dont we get an admin and they do, there only one league in damn battle, they didnt played much cb's last season, I dont like them, he made me forfeit a cb......... hunderds of reasons to start hunderds of flame threads.
But offcorse if you make a TRIBE member an admin I would be happy and theres no problem anymore.
I like the way the admins get choosen now. Like civic got to be admin and Noto(I believe he would be a good admin, but that new league stuff asks some questions)
anyway I still trust mauti and his fair decisions, and if you dont argree with it you could always say why and argument but its hard to kill a decision wich is already fair.

So uh, not funny Ultimo(not that im against you) but it really did suck.

Is this the part where little ultimo is upset cause he was the MOD first and feels compelled to give Noto a hard time?!  I hope it turns into an afterschool special at the end where Ultimo finally realizes that its ok for new MODs to be accepted by the league.  

i think it was the way Noto became an admin thats the problem diesel... i can tell its more than Ultimo who is very suprised about this.

once again a post from someone from the N clan without thinking about it!!..... so stop going at people that are suprised about this decision.

and stop expecting N to lay down and die because someone else is unhappy or does not approve.

All i can say to all of this is YAYAYAYAYAYAYYAYAY.  Cant wait for the next season.

let the games begin and the discussions die.  We can all never get what we want anyways.
