Title: Omaha beach map PC & Mac Post by: Beejdaddy on April 25, 2001, 10:09:18 am Help please. I am trying to play the Omaha Beach map (v 1.01) with my Mac friend. We both have the WW2 weapons mod installed and that works OK with regular maps. However, when we try to use Omaha Beach map (with Mac hosting), I get a message that says mod incompatibility and that I must have the v 1.01 map (which I have and have activated). What am we missing/doing wrong? We also are unable to use the NMM mods when playing cross-platform. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

if I can remember right came the Omaha Beach map with new items, does it Beejdaddy? However there were problems so I had to remove these special items. May this cause the incompatibility! About NMM: make sure that you both have version 7.0 or 7.5. If you had the same versions may your mac partner has installed my Mac only NMM add on that replaces the ugly sniper crosshairs(they are to large) with the normal sized from NMM 7.0. I let the new NMM 7.5 reitcules untouched but I replaced the sniper reticules with the old so may this is responsible for incompatibility. Unfortunaly I hadn't added a uninstaller for this Mac only add on. So your mac player has to redownload the NMM 7.5 mod or you both wait after 6th May and I will redo the Mac Add On with an uninstaller. |
