Post by: ANZAC_SKT on August 11, 2001, 10:29:01 pm G'day..I am new to the R6/RS scene and am very atracted to these games cause there is so much modding going on...I am having trouble working out sometimes which mod goes with which game..?? One question I have which I think I already have the answer to is: Can a UO mod or skin or map be used with RS..????
My main question is can ST6 be used with RS....?? What do you suggest is the best way to start off and where is the best place to get detailed reviews of mods including what specific game they are for..??? Also..I am having some trouble getting hold of Coco's H&K mod...Any definate d/load spots around..??? Title: Just a few more Qs.......!!!!! Post by: jn.loudnotes on August 11, 2001, 11:53:14 pm I'm not very familiar with RS and RS/UO, but as for R6 covert ops, you won't find very many (if any at all) mods of that on this site, as that is a PC only game. DAMN converts PC mods for RS and RS/UO to Mac, but for covert ops you will have to take a look at a PC gaming site. You will find varying opinions, but I suggest that you get R6: Eagle Watch as it is probably the best game of the series.

well the most mods are intended to work with the Rogue Spear expansion pack Urban Operations and you can't play these mods in the normal RS without editing some files. I suggest you to buy the epansion pack because if you want to play online too you will need it. You should get it for 30 US Dollars in your local game store. Once you have bought it you will be able to enjoy tons of mods and you also can easily activate and deactivate them. Further you shouldnt have any problems to play the ST6 map and you can also load Covert Ops Essentials as mod in UO when you move it in your Mods directory which appears once you have installed UO. Post by: KoS Ultimo on August 17, 2001, 03:55:11 pm :) I downloaded the ST6 mod from *DAMN maybe a week ago and let me tell you, it is amazing. I couldnt beieve how big it is. The only draw back to the mod that i found was it takes so long if you want to assualt the other team cuz the map is so big, and there is a big chance you will get sniped. Other then that it is great
