Thanks.. I think everyone is fine, just busy with other things mostly, Coco is working on some chr's for the SCAR mod, and Mac and i are playing VBS1, him more-so than I, Cobra6 is busting badguys, and photo-shopping weapons, other than that, it's status-quo

Hopeful we can find another series to start modding for I think, at least from my end.

SWAT 4 looks cool. i'd like to see mods for that, i thought SWAT 3's missions were way more immersive than rogue spear's.

i havent seen or heard anything of R6:Lockdown for PC since Ubi decided they didnt need to worry about PC public relations, but i'll still probly get the game cuz red storm did it this time i think.

This was the last I heard about R6:Lockdown  for the PC

Quote
Computer Games Magazine has confirmed that the PC version of the upcoming tactical shooter Rainbow Six: Lockdown will not be released alongside the PS2 and Xbox versions as originally announced.

While the first press release announcing the game hinted at a simultaneous shipping date for the PC version this spring, a representative from the game’s publisher Ubi Soft told Computer Games Magazine otherwise.

The only things the representative would confirm about the PC version of Lockdown is that it would ship sometime later than the PS2 and Xbox versions and that it will be a all new game developed by Rainbow Six creators Red Storm and will not be a port of either of the console versions.

This is the second Tom Clancy branded game series from Ubi Soft that has moved from being primarily a PC franchise to a console franchise.

The first game in the Ghost Recon series was released initially on the PC with console ports afterwards, but Ghost Recon 2 was released first for the PS2 and Xbox last November.

And SWAT4 looks good, a bit slow, but a decent game..Tac-Light 1911 anyone?

I wish I could get into the SWAT franchise. 4 looks like a sweet game but I just don't like the non-military style of gameplay. Least there's BIA and SC soon.

my favorite part about swat 3 was (still is) sp team deathmatch.

choosing weps and uniforms was great, and between the tac lights and the room clearing tactics the ai uses, it made for some great swat vs. swat games.

i still play it when im not addicted to thief: deadly shadows (its like a medieval splinter cell...)

Cakie basically moved on from Elited after a bunch of years, stopped updating the site last summer. I spoke with her just before that, and she basically said it was the time it took. Elited was competing, in a way, with other bigger game review sites, and it wasn't always cordial. I haven't talked to her for some time now though, should drop her a mail.
