TRC from GR.net offered to send it to me. My bud's on it though so I should have it by tomorrow or whenever I feel like picking it up. Just hate having to go to these lengths for big files.

Oh and what are the new weapons anyway? All I caught was the Jackhammer. 

Theres a mp7, the jackhammer, sr25, one assault rifle (forget the name, looks like a beretta ar70 kinda, or whatever it is), and a um 100. I think thats all of them. The maps are enormous and play very well.
Cobra and I had good fun last night.

You know, Im aware that RVS has issues, although they were all small to me. The biggest frustration with the game for cobra, whisper, and myself in the past was joining together to play. I will admit we had issues. We worked them out and played for months almost every night and had a blast.

Yet you stop by the official RVS Community, and the members are bashing, whinning, and complaining as usual. Makes me sick. I would love the opportunity to mod this game but if it was for that community, I would have to pass. Just ranting this morning....

The RvS community in general seems to be much more immature compared to the GR one. It's so unlike what the R6 and RS/UO community used to be. I wouldn't worry though, RSE is developing Lockdown and should hopefully be a proper sequel to RS.

Hey I understand what your saying but I dont think the game was that bad to begin with. Ive played it countless hours, I cant say that about many of the games I purchase. I just dont see what all the negative stuff is about.
Im just as disappointed about the SDK not being released as anyone, after they said it would be. I guess outside of that, and that is only driven by the desire to mod the game, I think its a good game. I really like the maps for IW, they run great and look great to me.
Who knows what the next generation game in the series will bring, I know Ill be buying it though.

I'm with Mac...I am ready to dive head first into modding a game like RVS.

Okay - I will re-install and grab this - might just bring my lazy ass out of retirement. I'll be looking for you Mac - you too Cobra6 ;) just never see you around anymore, and you don't return my emails emails either :(

I dug thru the ubi forums, and didnt see anything...I dont supppose any of you guys know when or if this expansion might hit macs? (if at all)

I wouldnt be surprised if we got the total brush-off like usual..but would be nice if I was wrong.

I think you're probably out of luck Sheixhundt. Ubi let this be released as-is and without any support from them so I seriously doubt you'll get it for Mac.

Mac and I were talking about you the other day....we were talking about the three of us playing RVS every night and how much we enjoyed it.

I'm gonna get this, even though I never made it thru the sp game, lol. I guess I still have a chance to play RVS with the team.. could it be true? haha :D

im assuming this is the same sort of thing as AS expansion? - pity the mods don't work like GhR so with a little time (or lot) of work from someone like Mauti the whole lot could be made mac happy and we could make the most of the expansion.

Well maybe waiting isnt the right word. We are definately playing every evening though  ;D. Server can be found on ubi, its called WardenMac's Server, pass is mac.

Crap guys I've dl'ed it twice and each time I install, it just gets to like 59% and the window disappears, installer crashes! Might be time to replace that HD, been giving me problems with big files. I'm gonna ghost another drive this week and get this going.

Sorry, went fishing and wasnt able to make it. Figures, Whisper gets a kitchen pass and Im gone.

No worries Mac, I was able to host, and Cobra6 and I got to run for a bit, using MSN Voice Chaat as our Comms - he doesn't need a partner either, just runs through and clears all the maps by himself :(

It was alright, caught a few.
He must be cheating then, considering it took us 19 tries to clear garage. Talk about aggrivating.

I am going to be down for a bit, my hard drvie took a shit, the good news is that extended warranty that I got suckered into 3 years ago is about to pay off :), hopefully I'll be back playing the games we love sooner than later, although I am not looking forward to re-installing VBS1 :(

It's in the shop now, they told me 24-48 hours. I will have to re-build from the ground up, but at least it's not costing me anything. I pretty much lost everything on the old drive, pictures, programs. So I'll need Mac to send me those movies again ;) - but keep the ones with the horses bro, not my style 8)

Hey kazan.. we haven't been able to play much, at least not on my end. I had some PC troubles.. Mac is traveling, and I haven't seen Cobra6 in a while now(Maybe he made Sgt.) - anyway I'm at whisper_44 on MSN Messenger..ad me, and we'll see if we can make it happen. SOMEDAY ;)
