Hint 1: Sign up to post comments and much more
Btw of course you are invited to post wherever you want. Just try everything out. Create fake clans, post cbs(TEAM and FFA aren't working yet), post new rules, add/invite members, create ladder roster, submit fake cb results, upload proof screenshots, just play around.
If you haven't noticed it yet: if you submit a reply you can use the normal apple commands, if a keyboard command is available e.g. "apple+b" command for bold, instead of alt or ctrl as many other forums require.

looks very promising, havnt found any major flaws so far. just the icon upload for the clan profile doesn't work for me, but thats probably only because im an idiot. im trying it again. |

No it's a permission error. It gets uploaded but not shown correctly due missin server permissions. I'm on it.

i created new teams but i dont have any permission to edit the team roster or sign up for any ladders. am i doing it wrong?

Indeed I also have to add a join button on the ladder pages.
Sign up options are located at the clan/users dashboards. A clan has to create a roster first before he can join a ladder.

Alright I just added a big sign up button on all ladders with active registration. I also updated the hints on the sign up pages so you know what to do.
The system is a bit more complicated but on the other side you also get more options. I think you will get used to it quickly.

Mauti when you submit a CB and theres the option to submit a screenshot/proof, will there be a slot to also upload replays? Or can that be used to upload a replay also?
It would be nice if replays were saved & uploaded for every match when their posted. I know GHR has replays, not sure about CoD4.

As it is now you can only upload screenshots, because I can't offer a virus scan to any uploads while if you upload to free upload services like http://www.mediafire.com all files are scanned.
That's the reason why I have added the option to post a link to an external proof file. But I could easily change that so you can also upload small zips or rars.

Another thing too, will users have mailboxes for PMs? I know the *DBL forum has PMs but are you planing on having the option for here too. And is the original *DBL forum going to be integrated into the new *DBL or are you going to start a whole new forum?

I would like to use personal shout boxes as http://www.lastfm.com does, but with the option that you can tag it as private so really only the receiver can read it. This shout box will appear on the not yet integrated right sidebar.
About the forum. That's a good question. For the beginning it will probably be the only available solution to use the current *DAMN forum(although it requires another registration...). However cb related issues will be directly discussed at the clanbattle info topic. As soon as a cb status goes to pending by admin only involved clanmembers and admins can view and post there.(it's not available yet because there are no team cbs yet)

If it were possible to integrate the two of them i think that would be awsome mauti - and certainly make life easier in terms of moderating between the *DBL forums etc and here. I very much thought that this - ie where we are typing, was very much only for posting *DBL news (just like the old site) ?
shoutbox like lastfm would be superb!
