GameRanger Status in forum?

i had this in mind since a while but now i finally got to post it, heh...

how about a GameRanger accountnumber field somewhere in the forum userprofile where you can add your number? just like the AIM, MSN, Yahoo or ICQ fields we have already built-in in the forum.
as addition to that maybe also a field, usually under your post, where either the green (for online) gr symbol shows up or a red one (for being offline). like the already existing AIM, MSN, Yahoo or ICQ status buttons.

is that possible? would be pretty neat, imo.

The problem is that if you observe the BL site, like the admin staff page, the GameRanger server response time is very slow so it can happen that you have to wait up to 10secs if you load only 8 - 10 online status. For the forum this would probably the overkill.

well, then just a simple field to add your GameRanger account number in your forum profile and maybe a -static- little GR icon where the other messenger app symbols are in your posts.
