Hiya kids,
I have played many maps for RS and I can safely say that Fortress beats the crap outta most of them...I spent a couple of hours looking for bugs and playing the map in multiplayer with 4.Dr.Mutha and we didn't find anything that was bad with the map. 4.Dr.Mutha kept repeating over and over..."this is the best friggin map, man...it rocks..." and you know what...I have to agree with him, it is definately up there. I enjoyed playing this map and will continue to play it...
Oh yeah, there are two underground shooting ranges...I fired a few rounds at the target with 4.Dr.Mutha and it was fun. This map has so much...It's a FUN map!!
- The map has six variants...Rain & Fog, Top Only, Underground Only,Tower Snipe, No X-ing and regular.
- In tower Snipe you are limited to the towers. You have two spots to see the enemy, on top of the tower and at its foot. When 4.Dr.Mutha and I played, it turned into a waiting game and taunting...both of us scared to peek out, fearing the other was gonna shoot. I liked this map because you were really limited and you didnt have to repeat no X-ing a zillion times to players cause you were completely blocked off.

- In the No X-ing map the middle of the map has a long wall blocking the way... you can't get to the other side but you are not limited in any other way. This also is very well done. There are a few spots where you can see the other side but for the most part the wall is taller than you therefore blocking the view. And again you don't have to type No X-ing a zillion times...

- Finally, the regular map is exactly that regular. No movement hindrances in any way and once again this map rocks!!

- The other three variants are pretty much self-explanatory, therefore I won't waste our time explaining them...
So, all in all this map is one of the best ones out there: GET IT!!! Stop thinking about it and get it! You will not be disappointed! Oh and by the way I didn't mention a couple of cool things in the map that make it good...I don't want to give it all away!!
