*DAMN was founded on 13th June 2000 by Bander and Mauti as international GameRanger operating R6 clan. The first *DAMN website went online almost at the same time. Soon we found out that common rules for clanbattles were missing. - The Battle League was born(July 2000). ... Nowadays we are the largest Rainbow Six Mac website worldwide offering uptodate news, mods, technical help and much more. ... We are still a clan even if we forget this sometimes. - Mauti - 9.12.2002
| - 13.6.2000: Bander and Mauti found *DAMN, the Deadly Alliance for Murdering Nerds.
- 16.6.2000: Bander does his first *DAMN pictures, one of the first pictures is the *DAMN cute girl on the start page.
- 17.6.2000: The first parts of the website are finished. Bander creates the *DAMN icon
- 18.6.2000: First problems with *DAMN fakers, because Bander does some wrong statements.
- 20.6.2000: *DAMN counts 4 fakers
- 26.6.2000: *DAMNs website goes online, on the first day the website counts 58 unique visitors. Cygnus X-1 joined *DAMN.
- 1.7. - 31.7.2000: *DAMN is one of the best known clans in GameRanger. Mr. Sado and Bondo join *DAMN. *DAMN has his first tryout which went totaly wrong so that *DAMN decides never to do a tryout again. Zomar and MrtnGuitar join *DAMN. *DA, *DAMN Allies are founded as a kind of *DAMN fanclub and for guys that want to join *DAMN. Mauti start to work on the Rainbow Six Expansion Pack Mautis Hellfire. Mauti opens the Battle League. REW-5 joins *DAMN for a two week test period to see if he increases his skills.
- 1.8. - 30.8.2000: The website counts the 1000th visitor. El Barto joins *DAMN. SCUD Batty is banned from Game Ranger. First Screenshots of Mautis Hellfire that goes alpha. *DAMN Bander and *DAMN Cygnus X-1 disappear for the whole august. Mautis Hellfire is released. *DA has 16 members. *DAMNs popularity is at the maximum. *DAMN REW-5 loses his *DAMN status again. Ebola joins *DAMN.
- 3.9.2000: *DAMN wins a very confuse clanbattle against VaK. Zom@r is kicked out of *DAMN because of teamkilling.
- 4.9. - 31.9.2000: Sniper and FullMetalJacket join *DAMN. FUllMetalJacket is kicked out because of unacceptable behaviour and constant swearing about everything.
- 1.10. - 30.11.2000: Several clanbattle organisations doesn't work. *DAMN wins a friendly clanbattle against EUR. sNm wins a friendly battle against *DAMN. *DAMN Mauti wins the survival tournament on stevies host. *DAMN Mordred joined *DAMN. HockeyGuy, S1 and urban|assault alias Snipe join *DAMN and left it again. Postal Worker and BlackHawk join *DAMN. *DAMN decides to rename *DA to *DAMN Agents
- 1.12.2000: *DAMNs website crosses the 5000 visitor border.
- 10.12.2000: *DAMNs website redesign is partly finished.- 361 visits are counted on *DAMNs website, new record.
- 18.12.2000: *DAMNs website reaches the first place of the TOP 100 Rainbow Six/ Rogue Spear of 602 websites worldwide.
- 26.12.2000: *DAMNs website counts the 7500 visitor
- 28.12.2000: *DAMN website moves to another webhost and finishes the webredesign
- 31.12.2000: 2:53AM *DAMN Mauti does eight kills as a client in one game; thats the maximum number of kills in a team survival game that can be reached. Personal and alltime high record in GameRanger
- 3.1.2001: Macgamer.com writes an article about the RS Demo Add On made by Mauti. Read the article here!
- 14.1.2001: Sardaukar joins *DAMN; only one spot is left.
Mauti gets Rogue Spear.
Several Rogue Spear websites post about problems with the compatibility of RS PC mods but Mauti denies. .
- 15.1.2001: Mauti starts to convert GrayFalcons Treasure Island for mac.
More *DAMNs have RS.
The RS demo doesn't run on Banders old G3.
The mod R6 Never Dies is finished but Mauti can't find a webhost.
- 17.1.2001: Mac RS isn't compatible with the PC RS because of different game versions.- Mauti contacts MacSoft to gather if they are working on a update and about a possible ftp access to MacSofts server to distribute mods.

Planet Rogue Spear reports that *DAMN is working on a conversion of GrayFalcons Treasure Island, which is alpha and running smooth on a Mac.
- 19.1. - 12.4.2001: Many things happened in these almost three month: *DAMN is now hosted by the largest gaming network worldwide GameSpy as a part of planetrainbowsix.com. We are the first "clan" site hosted by GameSpy that underlines that we are more than a clan. With the help of our new host we are able to host all our mods. A new era starts for *DAMN. Croonerb, Elandrion and Vapor joined *DAMN. Also Faus joined but left us again few days later. *DAMN is now full and with Elandrion we got a php scripter and Croonerb is one of the best apple scripter I know. *DAMN specializes itself to convert and improve PC RS mods. We also release Rainbow Six Replacements a coproduction between Bander, Diablo and Mauti. In these 3 month we convert over 400MB mods. Rainbow Six Never Dies is a huge success and has over 1500 downloads. *DAMN loses 3 clanbattles in a row and some members are unhappy with this situation and are afraid about their reputation. Mordred runs away. Our *DA Leaders Commanche and Gladiator are afraid of me and don't dare to talk with me about problems so they want to kick me out with the help of Bander. Fortunaly Bander is my friend and together we stop the *DA Traitors and close down *DA at the 20th february 2001. *DA is closed because we are unsure how many members are afiliated with the traitors. I, Mauti, have my final exams and the last tests of my last class, as a consequence I am offline for over one month. Several clans join the battle league. *DAMN get support by almost every PC mod maker and is the only R6/RS mac website after RS-Hub is closed. *DAMN R6/RS World has daily between 400 - 500 hundred visitors per day.
- 14.4.2001: *DAMN R6/RS World crosses the 40.000 visitor border
- 13.6.2001: *DAMN has its one year anniversary and all members that wanted it got a surprise package in July.
- 13.6. - 22.8.2001: I have successful graduated and yeah I never ever school again, hehe. The *DAMN R6/RS World gets an redesign and has its own staff now. We have counted our 100.000th unique visitor. From this point on we count also page views. Because of the long downtime during my graduation and the redesign we have lost over 200 unique visitors per day. Currently we have 250 - 300 unique visitors and 1200 - 1700+ page views daily. The Mod Archive, Battle League and Screenshot section aren't online yet. *DAMN Postal Worker gets my full administrative functions as leader for the time I have to join the ARMY.
- 27.8 - 28.8.2001; zak and Silent Killer join *DAMN.
- 3.9.2001; Vapor left *DAMN.
- 15.9.2001; Zom@r returned to *DAMN.
- 27.9.2001; *DAMN won a clanbattle vs EsF in Rogue Spear 10-8, and in kills 20-16.
- 27.9.2001 - 25.7.2002; From 3rd september 2001 - 2nd may 2002 Mauti had to join the Austrian Army for 8 months. Unfortunaly he was at an elite unit called Panzergrenadiere so he had very less time for *DAMN. He had to work averagly 72 hours per week and his bootcamp was 1 hour by car away from his home. Mauti had also a border deployment so he spent christmas and new year at the border to slovakia. While Mauti was in the army Postal Worker managed *DAMN. Also several players from GameRanger took care about the website and posted news,reviews and administrated the forum of the *DAMN R6/RS World. zak left *DAMN forever but Exe1{utioner(SK's bro), sundance, CoffinDancer, Snake, PimpingPanda and Alex joined *DAMN. Currently *DAMN is very active again now only the cb results have to become better ;). Btw about the website: We have currently over 700.000 page views, over 190.000 unique visitors, over 120.000 downloads, over 20.000 forum entries, 3000 - 6000 page views daily and last but not least 250 - 500 unique visitors daily. *DAMN also had its 2nd anniversary on 13th June of 2002. The Battle League is also very active and is now full scripted and has its own admins. Thanks to Elandrion for realizing one of the best Mac leagues out there. Also the Battle League has now seasons lasting 90 days until a winner is determined. Bondo and Infection have organized a great 1vs1 tournament which will be finished soon. The sad news on 19th July 2002 Grifter, our friend and forum moderator, died in a motorcycle accident. Grifter's memorial page.
- 26.7.2002 - 9.12.2002; *DAMN R6 crossed the 1 MILLION page view border. I am currently working on a redesign. *DAMN R6/RS World is now known as *DAMN R6. *DAMN took a break from the RS ladder because of the lack of practice but Snake is working on a comeback. Kilzo joined *DAMN and yes Ghost Recon is out ;)
- 10.12.2002; Most parts of the new website went online. We got great feedback and are working on the download section. SilentKiller got indefinatley suspended because of some clan issues.
- 4.1.2003; SilentKiller got unsuspended. Kilzo left again to reactivate Task Force 6 short TF6. The new Mac Downloads section is online.
- 12.1.2003; Cyridian joined *DAMN. Now we are 4 Austrian GR players! Btw the 3rd season started and the BL is already very busy.
- 21.1.2003; Sad news: Bondo decided to leave the community once for all. He has been with us since July 2000. Bondo we will miss your power on the virtual battlefields of GameRanger.
